I stayed here with my daughter & her friend for one night while we visited Tayto Park which is only 10/15 minute drive away. Room was clean & acceptable. Not particularly modern but that not an issue for me. Reception staff were helpful & friendly. We didn't eat in the hotel when we stayed so can't comment on that. Only...

Party package includes function room, finger food, balloons and DJ. Seems a great idea and good value for money but the DJ ruined the night. The dance floor was completely empty most of the time and he wasn't happy to play at all. He was on his phone most of the time and didn't care if people were enjoying. It's...

Stayed here for 2 nights, room was on ground floor & much nicer than the one on the 1st floor that we stayed in last year. Dinner in the Loft started off with huge starters, was not to keen on the chicken l had for main, very small piece of chicken, 2 slices of carrots & 2 small pieces of...

I visited the Ashbourne House Hotel at the beginning of October. I stayed for the night as I was there for an 80th birthday party. The room was very standard. I booked a double room for €80, it had a double and single bed. Spacious enough and they generously provided additional blankets and pillows. To my delight there was delicious...

Stayed on the 14th September with my husband as a little break away by ourselves. Room was clean and decorated tastefully. Very quiet. No noise heard from the room at all. The food from the restaurant was fab. Friendly, attentive wait staff added to the great experience here. Breakfast was in the food hall and it leaves a lot to...

Stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend and had a great time. Check in was very quick and my room was as expected, comfortable and warm. The bathroom in particular was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard. Full grill selection, cereals, fruit and fruit juices, nothing exaggerated or over stated, just good wholesome...

My family (six in total) called into the restaurant after 8 o'clock in the evening for dinner after spending the day in Tayto Park. The food was excellent and the waitress was very accommodating and flexible for all of food requirements. The food was excellent quality and well priced. The restaurant itself was lovely setting and ideal for any small...

We were at a family wedding there. The good and service was excellent- nothing fancy, just good fresh food and well served by polite and friendly staff, including bar staff and restaurant staff. This is a pretty standard hotel but it does what it needs to to welcome you and staff do seem to like working there, which makes a...

An overnighter to meet up with friends living in Ashbourne, ideal place to stay. Very reasonable prices, room adequate, staff friendly, check in quickly and efficiently handled. Easy to find and in the middle of the village with lots around to look at. Weddings constantly booked in this hotel and family friendly, Sunday lunch in main function room with bouncy...

This place is fine enough. I appreciate being a bit north of the city so that I can take the bus instead of drive around the city central of Dublin. It's a decent place to lay the head. The front desk staff is friendly. I felt the breakfast was overpriced for what we got, and the Loft Restaurant linked to...
