Stayed here recently with family. While the outside of the hotel needs updating, we were very impressed with the brightness and modern reception area. Staff were both friendly and very welcoming! The hotel has wonderful views from the restaurant, the bar area and our bedroom window. Our hotel room was absolutely spotless, as indeed was the rest of the hotel....

The location of the hotel is great, near the water but the hotel itself could do better. The room was not the best. One of the windows was not closing fully and overall, it could have cleaner. I found that on arrival, the lady at the desk as very friendly but when we checked out, the other person we dealt...

We stayed here on a weekend break which had been gifted to us via TreatTicket. We found the hotel to be a nice pleasant place to stay, the weather was horrendous on the Friday evening/night and all day Saturday but the hotel itself was warm and cosy. Disappointed with the room allocated even though at time of booking I emphasised...

Stayed here for two night break and had a room with lovely sea views. The room was basic and I would recommend a shower door instead of a curtain as the floor was extemely wet after we both had a shower. As there were no restaurants open in the vicinity we decided to eat in the hotel .Only bar food...

We stayed here recently for a weekend break booked via Treat Ticket, the first room allocated to us was very small and dark but we were moved to a larger brighter room on the 2nd floor which really made our stay much more comfortable. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed in the evening even though the Hotel was full (40 rooms)!,...

Only staff is friendly. Dirty windows paint from the walls is going off. Ceiling cracked not the best pick. Plus all those spiderwebs and all. If you can see the see through dirty windows you will be lucky

My partner and I stayed at the Pier Head hotel for two nights with a bunch of friends, and overall, while it is in a unique location, there's absolutely nothing special about the hotel itself. This hotel seems like more of a seasonal destination, not as popular during winter. There's a huge beach there and some beautiful walking trails that...

Enjoyed my weekend stay at the pierhead. The views were amazing and walks on the beach were priceless. Our room on out first night had a "humming noise" throughout the whole night and sleep was very limited, so next morning we were moved to a gorgeous quaint room overlooking the sea. However, we were shocked to hear there was no...

Stayed here before and was not disappointed, Staff very professional in their attitude and aim to please. Room with a sea view and lovely, warm and comfortable. Checked in by the beautiful Grainne, a joy to deal with and from the minute we arrived to check-out our stay was memorable and the beautiful sunshine was the icing on the cake....
