I had to book a B&B on short notice for a wedding, Ann couldn't have been more accommodating from the very beginning. The facilities and the breakfast menu are truly top quality, I highly recommend this B&B to anyone who's staying in the area (it's a short distance to the town centre also!) I was sad to leave, I will hopefully...

We stayed with Anne last Saturday, and what a pleasure it was!!!! We found her listing on Trip Advisor, and she made booking a breeze. Anne treated us like family members, and helped us get our Ireland trip started with famed Irish hospitality. Her rooms are large and spotless, and the location is perfect. Her B&B is a quiet, 10...

My wife and I travelled down Friday evening for a Saturday wedding in a nearby hotel, we were first greeted by Anne and given excellent directions to a local restaurant. Next morning my wife discovered she had forgotten her hat for the wedding and a charger for her mobile phone, Anne came to the rescue loaning us both and saving...

I stayed here for 2 nights November 2015. I was impressed with the four ground-floor rooms. Each had a double and single bed and a roomy wetroom/bathroom well set up for invalids/mobility difficulties. Everything was bright and comfortable and, importantly at this time of year, warm. Breakfast was good. The proprietor, Anne O'Connor was very welcoming and not only gave...

Ann was a wonderful host who made me feel welcome. The B&B is located close to the motorway and Limerick and would make an ideal base for a few days around the area. Also, it has the best disabled facilities I have seen to date in an Irish B&B.

This is my second time at Whitethorn and I would definately return. The welcome is the best I'v ever had and Ann the proprietor is the best host you could meet, the property is bright and clean throughout and I cannot fault it. The breakfast is everything you want in the morning, and Ann gave us a lift whenever we...

We stayed at the Whitethorn only 2 nights, and sadly did not have enough time to fully enjoy the area. Anne was a fantastic host, very helpful and sweet. The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was great. If you have mobility issues, this is the place to stay, fully accessible. Very reasonably priced, too.

we enjoyed a three night stay at Whitethorn Lodge and could not have been happier with our accomodation. Anne was the perfect hostess and made us feel very welcome after a long day of driving. Our room was lovely, quiet, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Our cooked breakfast was excellent and there was a good range of cereals and fruits,...

This could not be better. Room beautiful, food perfect, tops. Beautiful place. After a 150km bike ride from Waterford, Anne had our kit washed and ready next day. We even had sunshine when we arrived and when we left.
