We are a group of cyclists who stayed at this hotel for two nights as a base for exploring Achill Island. The staff were very helpful and friendly; the food was excellent. Unfortunately the live entertainment did not appear while we were there but we saw lots of great entertainment elsewhere around Ireland.

We stayed at the Achill Island Hotel for 5 days. It is an ideal base for exploring Achill island itself and the surrounding Mayo countryside. It was our second time staying there this year we found it so nice. Food is excellent, the full Irish will set you up for the day! Live music at weekends at the bar area,...

Food superb, drink obviously better, staff are really pleasant. Really nice way to end your day after sightseeing or a day of activities. The place is clean and the atmosphere is great. You must visit here and you will see what we mean. You will also enjoy just being in Achilles.

We just dined here but the food was excellent. The fish was super fresh and my son was delighted with his meal. The waitress was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. At least 4/5 stars. There is loads of parking out front of hotel too. The bathroom facilities were very clean and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by...

We ate at this place twice during our stay on Achill Island. On the up side the staff were friendly and polite, although s little slow sometimes in following up with requests. The food was largely what I would call traditional offerings, roast, fish and chips, smoked salmon and was ok but could have been better. (I considered ordering the...

Been out walking on the peninsula and really wanted a warm drink. Popped in for coffee and beer. They have free WiFi and the TV is currently showing Ireland beating France 1-0 ☺ I enjoyed a cappuccino which was not bad, and a friend had an Irish coffee which was almost perfect.

We received a warm welcome at Ostan Oilean Acla when we booked our room for the evening. Clean spacious room complemented by friendly service at the bar and restaurant. With a delicious breakfast included the next morning we wondered what more could one ask for? Great location while visiting Achill Island. (Wifi is available in the bar/restaurant.)
