Hotel situated away from the beach in a residential area on the edge of Grouville. As we were arriving on foot we ended up entering via the back door. The exterior may look a bit dated but the hotel interior is obviously being completely upgraded and the public areas are very bright and modern. Our bedroom was beautifully tiled and...

Simply put, this is an excellent little hotel. It's quite homely and provides a very good level of service. Our bedroom, only moderately sized, was very well-appointed and clean. The bed-linen was always fresh because it was often changed. The amply-sized wardrobe housed numerous hangers. The shower, fixed above the en-suite bath, was not only powerful and very hot (if...

Stayed here for a week. Hotel was pretty full. Room had everything we needed. Clean and quiet considering how busy the hotel was. Excellent position - bus stops just outside. Breakfast good and staff helpful. Did eat in the restaurant one evening though meals were on the small side. Close to Gorey village which had good eating places and there...

Lovely ground floor room. I explained I'm disabled and nothing was any trouble . Staff are amazing , top notch breskfast and evening food good too . On a regular bus route but I'd recommend hiring a car as its needed to tour the island. I'd definitely come back here to this hotel

I want to give the Beachcomber Hotel a good review but feelings are mixed ! The décor has been thought about and is really nice with some nice pieces of furniture in the dining room, bar and reception. Unfortunately there is a lot of work that needs doing to make it livable. There is a big damp problem in the...

Great little hotel, good breakfast always kept replenished. Ate at the hotel a couple of times and was good for the money. There are some very good restaurants nearby. Bus service was very easy to use and I got around the island easily. Anna was very helpful and a credit to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice pool...

Hotel looked nice and the staff in the restaurant were very good as was the breakfast, everything that you wanted to eat was there. Our room was very tired and the bathroom especially so, there were chips out of the bath the shower screen was mouldy and it leaked, soap dish and loo roll holder were rusty. The bed was...

Don't get me wrong, it's a 3 star hotel & we were made to feel very welcome during our 9 night stay but there's a lot to say here!! Our party booked 2 rooms both on ground floor. One had a fresh sunny & modern feel though not much floor space to walk about in the room & a hard...

The Beachcombers, Grouville, is a self-styled ’boutique hotel’ situated on the busy main road into Gorey. As the promotional literature has it “noise free rooms not guaranteed”. Avoid road facing rooms if possible. Staying in August 2015 ours was No. 15, a small but perfectly adequate room. It had a very smart en-suite (shower only) which, mystifyingly, possessed no hooks...
