Food very good - especially breakfast. Best not to eat in the dining room at night (if you're B'n'B) as the food's just the same if you buy in the café - and you have more options. We had to move suite because of excessive noise coming from a kitchen fan which was going overnight. However, the manager (Lionel) handled...

Our second stay at The Mayfair, not quite as enjoyable as our first, but that was largely due to the appalling weather (which was obviously not the hotel's fault). Unfortunately, our room was not ready for us when we arrived, but, having said that, we arrived just after 10 am. Room was very pleasant and, as we had requested, was...

Pleasant enough as 3* hotels go +ves: Good size rooms, spotlessly clean, excellent bathroom, close to town centre with level walk (5-10 mins) -ves: room a little cold (asked to fix but didn't happen - OK as 1 night stay), bed on the hard side, breakfast very average. Overall, good value for money and fine for a short break

We stayed in a family room and it was very spacious and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, we were on the third floor and to say that when we visited they had a party of school children staying it was very quiet. The pool area was quite old fashioned but the pool was large enough for a good...

This hotel is only a short distance from the town center. The receptionists were extremely helpful and even though we arrived at 9 in the morning, they still managed to provide us with our room keys straight away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a swimming pool , jacuzzi and steam room to enjoy, along with a gym...
