We had a lovely stay at this hotel. After arriving a day late due to flight delays the reception team were absolutely amazing, a special mention to Dayna who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. The accommodation was excellent, we stayed in the Conservatory suite overlooking the beautiful grounds, it was so lovely and peaceful. I would have liked a small fridge in the room for cold water and milk for tea, many hotels now provide as standard. The evening meal and breakfast in the Lobster Grill Restaurant was beautiful, a very efficient service co-ordinated by the restaurant Manager Ivo. The food, ambiance and service was excellent. The hotel overall has a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We will return to this hotel on our next visit to Guernsey.

The ground floor superior room was excellent and really quiet. Ideal for people with mobility problems. Thank you. The dinner on the first night (which was included) was very limited if you are a vegetarian (1 dish - Risotto, that was too cheesy and very samey). The starters were great (olives and Garlic Bread). The desert (homemade??? Cheesecake) was tasteless and only the sauces gave it any flavour, For £8 it was a rip-off. The breakfast was of good quality, but the actual food was never hot, warm at best. This was really disappointing. Also the coffee machine is a bit of a joke. Much better just to get filter coffee. The staff kept looking at us as we left every other evening to find food elsewhere. The simple fact was it was far cheaper and much tastier elsewhere, especially for my wife, being the vegetarian.

This hotel is exceptional, the staff at all levels are emphatic, professional etc, nothing was too much trouble, they went out of their way to provide us with toiletries, tooth brushes etc when our suitcase failed to arrive in Guernsey, they made several phone calls on our behalf during our stay at no cost to ourselves, they provided tourist information, bus timetable tables etc, the quality of ourbedroom and its facilities were excellent and the ambience of the surrounding grounds added to our overall experience, the food in the restaurant at breakfast was superb and thier evening meals were excellent value for money and sublime. One tip we booked through a travel company which was considerably more expensive than booking directly with the hotel, we won't make that mistake again. We definitely be returning.

We had an amazing New Year break at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We were upgraded from a standard room to a Superior free of charge. The food was the best! Lovely seafood which was why we booked in the first and certainly not disappointed. We will certainly be returning.

The perfect Christmas getaway. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is out of this world and the presentation is beautiful. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent and the bed linen beautifully laundered. The Christmas gifts and champagne in the room on arrival was a lovely special touch. This is the second time we have spent Christmas at Le Friquet and it didn’t disappoint. Faultless!

This was our second visit to this Hotel, we try to go for a regular break towards the end of summer, and are in the process of booking for 2024. It is a lovely hotel the rooms are very nicely appointed and the hotel has a nice outdoor heated swimming pool. The Hotel has very friendly helpful staff, we love the location of the hotel as it is very central on the island for all the attractions and beaches, and is just across the road from a fantastic garden centre. The hotel has a great restaurant and modern Bar, that must be one of the best on the island and is used by many locals.

John and I spent THE most magical week at Le Friquet to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We had both lost our former partners and were most fortunate to meet and marry in our later lives. We were made so so welcome on our arrival at the hotel, having taken the ferry from Portsmouth to Guernsey. During our whole 7 day stay, we felt totally part of The most incredible family of wonderful staff who were all constantly ready to offer us a 100% during our stay at Le Friquet Hotel. We met some lovely people who were staying there moreover we are looking forward to meeting up with them early next year over here on the South coast. Our room was outstanding, we were totally happy every minute of every day we spent on Guerrnsey, most especially with the hotel. Before leaving, we had made arrangements to return in May 2024, both our ferry trips are now booked and paid for as well as our deposit at Le Friquet. We were blown over to be presented with a bottle of Laurent Perrier Champagne on our Wedding Anniversary. Jimmy, what an amazing family of THE kindest and most caring people you have there, you must be so proud of each and everyone of them. Our most grateful thanks to you all, see you in May... John and Lyn Melville.
