Delicious lunch of beef cheek and meatballs. Great knowledgeable service on food and drinks. Love the pressed steel ceilings and the private booths. Brewing your own beer is a fabulous addition. A great asset returns to Dunedin highly recommend. We will be back.

Stayed at this hovel for three unfortunate nights. ...very run down, smells and unfriendly. The dated damp room was tired, unfit for purpose with stained towels, if it was twenty Pounds a night I would not complain so much (would still be 10 Pounds to much). ...tried to book another hotel but could not get rooms at such short notice....

I wish that anything good could be said about the place but there is not . This is a seriously seedy and run down establishment that should be removed from any advertising supported...

If cleanliness is important to you then you can't go wrong here - the room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable and had the benefit of free wifi. The hotel is in a quiet location but within easy walking distance...

We stayed here for 4 nights September 2013.the room was clean and tidy but the bathroom was very small. The breakfast was our biggest disappointment each morning as we like a cooked one and it was always cold. We would of preferred waitress service at breakfast as we did last year when we stayed at the Marton up the hill...
