We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. I booked through Expedia, it was the same price as through the hotel direct, but I was also able to earn Nectar points. We arrived around 12.30 ish and our room was not ready, which was fine as we were early. We were able to check in and leave our bags. The...

This hotel is in a great location with picture perfect views of Brixham harbour and I enjoyed my room at the front of the hotel that fully exploited it. It is not the most modern of hotels but has a real and genuine charm lost in modern buildings. The staff are all happy friendly folk who make the place feel...

Eating brekkie with the pirates became the norm. Booked again for next year Pirate Festival. Can't recommend the hotel and Brixham highly enough... book...

A 2 night travel zoo offer seemed just too good to be true, but it was everything and more. The hotel is in a great location overlooking the pretty harbour, the room was very tastefully decorated with all the extras that make your stay more like home. The deal included breakfast and dinner in restaurant on one of the evenings....

We have just returned from a 2-night break at the Quayside Hotel. It was very good value (Travelzoo deal) as an excellent dinner on the first night was included. We paid extra for a kingsize bed in a spacious room overlooking the harbour & it was well worth it. We took our dog but hadn't realised that the car park...

Stayed three nights. Twin room, No.3 really small. Wardrobe contained a free standing shelf thing, couldn't call it anything else, an electric heater and an electric fan. Had to take these out to be able to use the wardrobe. Clothes had to be hung at an angle as not deep enough which, of course, meant we couldn't close the doors...

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We are a 300 year old cottage Hotel with rooms of various shapes and sizes. All are different which adds to the character. Room 3 has now been refurbished, the double wardrobe being replaced with a built in double wardrobe and separate drawer unit. We have removed the equipment from the...

I have just returned from a 3 night break with my mother and my little dog and I cannot thank the staff of this hotel for making our stay so enjoyable. It is seldom in this country that one finds a hotel dedicated to the delivery of exceptional service but that is what we have recieved.

We had a 2 night break (courtesy of Travelzoo) that was very enjoyable. The hotel is a rabbit warren of corridors and narrow staircases, but one really felt as though one was being part of living history. We were made very welcome at reception on our arrival and escorted to our room. We had chosen an upgrade to a harbour...

We paid extra monies on top of travelzoo monies and expected a decent room. Unfortunately room was very small, part of it being partioned off to accommodate a toilet, handbasin and very tiny shower. My husband could not stand up in it as it was not tall enough. Grouting dirty and bodged. Counterpane had stains together with shabby , grubby...
