Very well placed for an evening meal in a lovely spot...even better after a freezing long walk on Dartmoor with the dogs...very friendly and welcoming pub with good beer and food...a nice cup of tea too so I'm told.....we have only had food and drink here as we're local,so I can't comment on the rooms and I've not stayed in...

We popped out the other evening....excellent food, good beer and pleasant staff. Wish Kevin & Emma every success. It an ideal venue to walk out onto the moor either with a bite to eat beforehand or afterwards.

We only stayed the one night but Tors was a wonderful find. Total tranquillity, superb setting, you walk out the door onto the moor. The room was large and airy, spotlessly clean and similarly bathroom, although there was only a shower.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was nice and comfortable with ensuite. The breakfast was served in a nice dining room with beautiful views of the moors. We received a warm welcome from the new owners and the owner Kevin was very hospitable and personable and greeted us each morning. My only issue was that the rooms were not cleaned every...

This is Real Pub not a trendy watering hole. The Chef has been there for 25 years and she really does you proud with lovely food well cooked and good sized portions. The Landlord has only recently taken over and he's doing a great job - very friendly guy!! We visited about 3 weeks ago with the family on recommendation...

Warm and friendly welcome. Very accommodating. We had 2 evening meals, drinks and 1 night bed and breakfast. The food was very good and our room comfortable. The owners are new and deserve to do very well. Beautiful location with many attractive and interesting places to visit on the moor within comfortable travelling distance.

Excellent food and such a friendly welcome for us and for the dog. A bit tatty in terms of decor, but that made it all the more enjoyable in a way. The location is wonderful, and every bit of the place exudes authenticity. Loved it, but don't expect smart or trendy

Stayed in Belstone again, popped over to the Tors all three days. I love how the place is always the same, no matter how long you're away. Anne is retiring from managing the place this week, many best wishes to her in whatever she takes up next. Just hope the new landord doesn't go too gastro with the place.
