Julia the owner was very welcoming. We had a lovely room in lemon and white which was very well appointed. We both had a full English breakfast and a nice touch was curls of butter rather than the usual packets - locally sourced ingredients of the best quality. Nice and quiet too! Thoroughly recommend this place

Quietly located up a lane, just outside Buckfastleigh, this is a well run establishment with quality furnishings and tasteful decoration. Ample parking in a gated forecourt. Excellent, healthy breakfast choices set you up for a great day.

Very good room, clean, well thought out. Could have done with another chair and less noise from the bathroom fan. Locality very good - not walkable to Buckfastleigh, but quiet and pleasant people. Recommend this very highly

Julie and Martin most welcoming hosts. Had a short 2 day solo trip. Requested and early check out (to drive back to East Sussex). Julie left out breakfast in the kitchen for me to help myself - wonderful!

We had a beautifully appointed room; we looked out on their orchard garden in one direction and a field of daisies in the other. Each day we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with plenty to choose from on the... More

We visited Devon just for a few days and found Kilbury Manor between 30-1/09 This was a truly fantastic experience and we would not hesitate to return there anytime of the year. The Manor is sort of hidden away from the village and you truly can have a tranquil stay there: occasional steam train whistle during the day if you... More

“The room I had was spacious, clean, cosy and most comfortable. High quality bedding and no skimping on costs. My room had a good tv, a comfortable arm chair, two windows (both with lovely views), coffee, tea and other beverages and storgae spage for baggage etc. The adjacent private bathroom was large, well fitted and spotlessly clean.......as was my bedroom !”
