This was a wonderful stop-over on the way to Cornwall. Steve was a charming, helpful host and Dianna's fine breakfasts were nicely served. Our room was bright and tidy with a delightful view over the garden. A full day nearby took us to the Scorhill Rock Circle and for a walk along the Teigen River to Fingle Bridge.

We were a little disappointed with our stay. Little information was provided on arrival. The room was clean and well equipped, but was cold when we got there. The common area wasn't utalised to the extent it could have been as the fireplace wasn't on. Breakfast was good. Good location for accessing Dartmoor.

Peaceful, relaxing stay as always. This is a great b & b in a beautiful location on Dartmoor. It is in walking distance to Chagford, which has many eating places (takes about 30mins walking) - although 5 minutes in the car! We've stayed here many times and it is our escape from day to day life. We stayed for 2...

I booked this b&b at very short notice to break up our journey to Bude in north Cornwall. What a beautiful place, the view from our bedroom windows would have been stunning had the sun been shining but low cloud masked the view. Very comfortable and clean country style bedroom with all you would need. Our host recommended an evening...

Stayed one night with wife. Excellent value b&b. £75 per night. Clean and comfortable room. Very good breakfast. If you are on the upper floor you have to be careful as access is by an outside steel staircase which could get slippery in the wet. New owner very attentive.

My wife and I stayed at this B&B over half term. The breakfast in this place is one of the best I've had at a B&B and the owners and staff are very friendly. They lent us a guide book for hikes in the area and had lots of very useful information about where to go on days out. The...

I was a single traveller with a first floor room with a view over the lush green back lawn. Comfortable main room where a delicious choice of breakfasts was available. Diana was most knowledgeable and information. Evelyn Waugh wrote several books here, including Brideshead Revisited, and Patrick Leigh Fermour also stayed and wrote here. Diana told how a local woman...

Just stayed at Easton Court for 1 night only in a superior double room and wish we had been able to stay for longer. Great room, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, cosy, warm and homely with lovely views. Beautiful, quiet location with easy access to Chagford, Moretonhampstead and much of Dartmoor. Diana was extremely helpful, and friendly and the cooked breakfast...

My husband and I stayed for one night. Booked the superior double. Large comfy bed, sofa in the room. Plenty of tea, coffee and excellent biscuits. Very quiet. Great views over the garden and beyond. Good shower. Housekeeper very friendly. Great choice of breakfast. Loved the stewed fruit. All very enjoyable.

Lovely countryside so this B & B (not a hotel!) was a real disappointment. Our room was minute with one chair and no wardrobe just some hooks on the wall. Shower also very small due to the taps protruding into your back, and the free toiletries advertised were just mis-matching shampoo and showergel which looked as though they had come...
