Our room was large and comfortable. It was rather old fashioned, but this added to the charm and character. The hotel was in a great location on a small road with loads of small shops. Great amenities.

Have been to Chagford a number of times, but never visited the 3 Crowns Pub. We were visiting Family over Christmas in the area and needed accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. The 3 Crowns is featured in the 2017 Good Pub Guide with a highlight for food. Let me say at once the Christmas decorations in the 3...

Lovely bar area and restaurant set in an old stone atmospheric town and hotel. However room had a terrible strawberry odour, mixed with a strong cigarette/smoking smell. Reminded me of rooms you would find in hotels in the 80s. Our room kind of felt stuck in the middle of nowhere. I would only come here for drinks or to eat,...

We spent three nights here, in a very comfortable room in the oldest part of the hotel, though that meant its floor had a spectacular slope! The staff could not have been more welcoming, attentive and friendly, and made us feel very much at home. Food was absolutely excellent, with the solitary exception of a very dry chocolate brownie one...

A beautifully restored building from earlier centuries. The olde worlde atmosphere in the bar and lounge areas have been lovingly maintained - welcoming fire, fittings, tables. When you enter, you´ll not want to leave. The dining room is more modern - airy, light, spacious. The food, all from local sources, is excellent and so is the service. Breakfast is also...

My mum stayed here over Christmas, firstly in a large disabled room and then in a smaller room by the restaurant. The disabled room is a very good size with its own parking space outside and ramps to get down to the restaurant and bar. The staff were really helpful, especially Lucy. We all ate in the restaurant on Boxing...
