We needed somewhere in or near Chudleigh to stay whilst visiting family. This was our first time at Glen Cottage and we were very pleased with our choice. It felt like we were staying with family, even to being introduced to Jill and Terry's lovely year old granddaughter. The building is fascinating with a LOT of history and the garden...

Gill welcomed us when we dropped our case off prior to our visit to my sons family. We returned in the evening and walked round the grounds of the property which are 'interesting' with the old quarry at the back and the stream running down. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

Well I recently stayed here with my girlfriend, and after arriving late, Jill was very welcoming and helpful. The food was nice too. Most impressive of all though was the prices. You won't find a b&b with the quality and pleasantness of Glen Cottage for these prices anywhere. Jill and I think it was her husband were very nice, they're...

great place to stay! Jill and Terry made our stay even more comfortable and like home. Rooms are comfy and spacious, pool was nice. Beautiful grounds with plenty on nice walks to do in the surrounding area. Best breakfast and Jill even made toast shaped like a teddy bear for our kids!! We will go back again for sure!

I stayed at Glen Cottage in July 2014, to attend my friend's wedding at nearby Ugbrooke House. I was welcomed by Jill with a lovely smile, who showed me to my bedroom, which immediately felt like home. I enjoyed a lovely siesta with cool air coming in through the window, to refresh myself after the train journey from London. It's...

We stayed Christmas night whilst visiting family in Chudleigh. Warm, comfortable, electric blanket in bed, also quiet, lovely building and setting. Did not think we would manage a full breakfast on Boxing Day morning, we did and it was excellent.

We stayed for two nights at this delightful B and B last April. Formerly the master's house of the adjacent worked out quarry it has an idyllic setting with a lake and stream running through the grounds. We had a large comfortable room with a 4 poster bed and views out on to a cliff at the top of which...

This was our first stay here and we stayed for 5 nights. If you want an excellent B&B in a fascinating 17th century building, then this is the place for you, especially if you are interested in wildlife. Peregrine Falcons, Kingfishers, Herons and Foxes have all been seen here. We saw the Falcon on several occasions and heard an owl...
