The food is amazing, a little pricey but worth it. The service is beyond any thing you will find in the biggest cities. Special mention to the owner Frank, all the waiters and kitchen staff, but a special mention is for Eddie, who gives above and beyond, and is truly gifted at his job

Visited The Fox & Hounds for a late lunch as it was serving food all day. Made very welcome, quite an extensive choice of dishes available. We had lemon sole and hubby had the chicken and Stilton pie.

Rooms are full of old world charm, and the food in the pub downstairs is amazing. Friendly hosts, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced with breakfast included. Popular with mature couples using the hotel as a base while tramping the moors. Also younger camping in the grounds
