Spotless room with everything I expected to find, even a sewing kit. An excellent selection of evening meals if I wanted one and a superb english breakfast. Particularly impressed with the friendly and cosy lounge/ bar area where I was made to feel very welcome. Coombe Martin doesn't have a great deal going on in March so it was most...

Excellent stay at Blairlodge. Very warm welcome from new owners. Turned up early but no problem as room was ready. Evening meal exceptional. Steaks cooked to perfection. Received complementary bottle of prossecco as it was our honeymoon. Seaview ensuite room comfortable and adequately equipped with tea coffee etc. Breakfast lovely. Will definitely be returning!

I enjoyed a pleasant stay at Blair Lodge with a group of friends, in February. The business is under new ownership and the web-site information is currently inaccurate in some respects. I particularly missed the separate lounge and the range of meal options listed as available, but it was a very pleasant stay.

I visited Blair Lodge from 17th February until 21st February. I had joined a group of friends for a long weekend of visits and walks in the area, something we have been doing for ten years. I have left glowing reviews in the past but what has prompted this one is the inaccuracy of the website. These inaccuracies are regarding...

We received a lovely warm welcome by new owners Carol Ann and Sue who did everything possible to make us feel at home. Blair Lodge is in a superb location overlooking the bay - just two minutes walk to the beach. We had a room with a lovely sea view; it was spacious, well-equipped, warm and comfy. Great home-cooked food...

This is our 2nd stay here this year, what a treasure trove it is. The hosts Nick & Rachael areal welcoming & nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean & the beds so comfortable & I have a bad back. All the food is grown & sourced locally & cooked by Rachel. She can tell you which...

We have just returned from another break at Blair Lodge, our number one choice of guest house. Rachel and Nick are everything you could wish for in owners, being very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them in making your stay as perfect as possible. We were welcomed with tea and homemade cake which was delicious. Rachel is...

A small guest house on the coast with sea views. Situated on a 'no through' road so no passing traffic. Magnificent coastal walks on the door step. Rachael serves home cooked food with a choice of menu each evening. We only planned to eat there the first night but having enjoyed our meal and the reasonably priced wine menu we...

Blair Lodge is everything a guest house should be. Rachel & Nick give everyone a really warm welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Really friendly atmosphere. Rachel's super breakfasts and dinners mean you do not need to venture out in the evening if you are not in the mood to hunt for an evening meal.
