From the warm welcome when we arrived to when we said our good byes, our visit here was fabulous. The rooms were lovely but, more important, Nick and Rachel are superb hosts. We so enjoyed chatting with them. The bonus was the food. We decided to have the evening meal and it was the best we have had on our...

Rachel and Nick are great hosts and made us feel really welcome. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the sea. We had tea and cake on arrival which was also very nice. The Breakfasts and evening meals Rachel cooks are really really good. We even had a candle lit breakfast one morning as it was our...

The hosts at Blair Lodge instantly make you feel welcome and relaxed. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Meanwhile the accommodation is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Delicious breakfasts too. For the price Blair Lodge represents outstanding value. Highly recommended!

Rachel and Nick were both there to welcome my daughter and I following quite a challenging leg of the SWCP. Genuinely interested in our days trek. Our room was spacious with a couple of comfortable chairs for us to relax in, whilst we demolished the homemade cookies, a very nice touch. Due to fatigue and the convenience of a home...

Rachel and Nick are the most perfect hosts making you feel welcome right from the start. Breakfast is simply lovely, our room was very nice and cosy. You also get valuable tips what to do in the area (and there is really much to do and see!). Thank you Rachel, thank you Nick for a wonderful stay. We'll come back.

From the minute we arrived the owners (Rachel and Nick) made us feel right at home. All through the stay they were always on hand to provide anything we need. We stayed in the family room (2 adults 1 child and 1 infant) it was well laid out and had everything we needed. Breakfast was perfect for the whole family,...

A lovely small hotel right near the beach and Exmoor national park. Very friendly and helpful owners. The home cooked meals were excellent and the room very comfortable and quiet. A nice spot for a quiet break away from the busier places in North Devon.

After a 15 mile walk on the coast path we were offered a very welcome tea tray with home-made cake as well as home-baked biscuits on the tea tray in the room. The room was quite small but the lovely sea view made up for this. All the facilities were clean but the shower room was very small and the...

I can't really add anything different to previous reviewers but only agree with all of their positive comments. The welcome is very warm with tea and homemade cake on arrival. The rooms are lovely. The homecooking including the evening meals very tasty and reasonably priced (we ate here 3/5 evenings). Rachel and Nick are lovely hosts recommending a pub when...
