Firstly, let me say that I hate camping....so wasn't completely convinced about a few days glamping in March!! ....I was completely wrong! Yes, it was freezing cold, but we kept both fires in our lodge burning and were super cosy. I imagined the toilet and shower might, in reality, be a bit too 'rustic' and cold, but both are perfect!...

So pleased we found Longlands, we wanted to get away from the daily grind, wifi, TVs and phones with the dogs and children and get back to basics (please note that there is mobile connection, we just opted to switch ours off!). What a fantastic weekend that we all thoroughly enjoyed, from collecting the wood from the store under our...

The lodges are amazing and so many thoughtful touches through the whole place. Food from the larder was terrific and perfect for the first night and breakfast, the ease of ordering was an extra bonus. The location is great, we went on the beach, for Sunday lunch, an adventure in the grounds at Longlands, Dunster Castle, Arlington Court. Would definitely...

What can I say that hasn't been said before...? We were a group booking, 8 families in 5 lodges. We had the whole site to ourselves which meant we had sole use of the party barn too. This was perfect for us as we had a communal area for our group in the evenings. We managed to use the facilities...

Longlands is outstanding. It strikes a great balance between achieving a camping feel which still being super comfortable. The attention to detail throughout is excellent! The surrounding area is great as well with lots to do with or without kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Longlands! The lodges are absolutely beautiful and with the fire going we were toasty and warm, even at the beginning of October.
