Another good weekend at this comfortable Inn. Relaxed atmosphere, good food and wine. Delightful and helpful staff. Good Central position for exploring Exmoor, walking the Moor, viewing the Deer and visiting the nearby coast. Maintaining current Covid Rules.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we booked a Superior room for Bed and Breakfast for three nights for £488.00 sadly the room did not live up to expectations from the photographs - curtains were torn and frayed - carpet with dirty marks furniture needed painting- dressing table stool was too dirty to sit on without putting a towel to cover it -shower dribbled out and could not get cold water in the bath. For the price we paid we thought 3 out of 5 was generous Overall very disappointed

Second visit in four months, this time with my sister and we had a wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful, so large with a lovely view. The staff are extremely friendly and ready to help. Covid controls still in progress throughout the hotel with guests being asked to wear masks within the hotel, plenty of hand sanitiser available throughout. Very reassuring. So looking forward to a return visit.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and functional. The restaurant served lovely food which all in our party of four really enjoyed. The breakfast had a wide variety of offering, from Pancakes to full English and cereals. Including Fruit, Yogurt and toast. The best part are the staff, extremely helpful and friendly. They are very knowledgeable of the area and will give you the time to explain if you need it. The whole place is excellent in the characteristic and welcoming atmosphere.

From the moment we checked in, we were made to feel welcome and valued as guests. The food in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant service, delivered by a well trained enthusiastic team, who clearly enjoyed their jobs. Many larger hotels would benefit from looking at how the White Horse manages to motivate their staff to deliver outstanding service from such a professional team.
