We have just returned from a two night stay. Andrew, the proprietor, gave us the warmest welcome on our late arrival and recommended two places to go for supper. Our little cottage was immaculately clean, warm and cosy. We had our dog with us and the cottage, with its own entrance, was perfect for us, a family of three. There...

We had a wonderful time at Simonsbath House hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff. Cosy fire going for when we came back from a walk. Food was amazing too. Perfect location for peace scenery and lovely fresh air. Everything I'd hoped for!

This lovely hotel has certain themed stays on offer throughout the year, including one which encompasses New Year's Eve. We had the good fortune to stay over this last new year, and it was a great way to celebrate the new year. A warm and friendly welcome, a great house party, several of the guests having stayed several times before,...

The hosts were excellent; welcoming, friendly, helpful, flexible, accommodating and hospitable. The hotel was comfortable, clean and of a good size. The food was superb and the chef will accommodate your requirements. The location is right in the middle of Exmoor.

This was a mountain biking break. The combination/ contrast between challenging cycling across Exmoor, and equally incredible comfort at the hotel, was amazing! Brilliant instructor [Paul West] who knew the area well, and knew how to pass on skills. I learned a lot.

Simonsbath House is in a beautiful location with stunning views. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is absolutely delicious and the set menu meals are good value for money. I agree with other reviews that the Austrian muesli is absolutely gorgeous with so many other selections of fruit and cereals. There is not much of an...

Cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The service was so friendly and professional. Clearly there was an ethos of making guests feel very much at home and nothing was too much trouble. Our dogs were welcomed too. We loved the traditional furniture of the lounge and the bar - and the blazing fires just made it perfect. Wonderful comfortable bed. A true combination...
