Given a bedroom with a sea view. Opened the window and could not close it! It was hanging off its hinges. Shower was a joke (run off bath taps). Bed uncomfortable no legs on the bed! Decor very tired, stains on ceiling. No bath mats (bits of paper) no shower gel, shampoo etc. Avoid like the plague!!!!!

Checked in with speed and ease by Max. Every single meal, breakfasts and dinners were flavoursome, well cooked and quickly served. The chefs Paul and Carl were attentive to every need. Harriett our waitress was invariably charming and on the ball. We had a glorious sea view fro room 305. Exqisitely clean, comfortable, with new decor, towels and bedding. It was...

Stayed for 4 nights on a coach tour and had a good time. Nick and his staff could not do enough for you. Food was great and plenty of it. We had a room overlooking the sea on the first floor. We would come again

Stayed here for 4 nights on a coach tour. We had a lovely room on third floor, it had a great sea view, and was clean and cosy. The meals were adequate and filling, and good value. All the staff were polite, courteous and pleasant.

Stayed here for 4 nights, the staff couldn't do enough for us,only had breakfast but couldn't find fault with it at all,no long wait the food was pipping hot and served with a smile, not really suitable for disabled as there are a lot of steps, only criticism the decor is tired and needs an update but very welcoming overall.

Grand old hotel, we had a large double room with lovely sea view. Was able to sunbathe lying on bed with the large sash window open! Better than being on the beach! The staff were lovely, and Nick the manager was always on hand, a faulty bulb in the room replaced immediately he was made aware (despite the really high...

Nick the manager was very helpful. We could not open our window but he had it fixed by the time we had eaten an excellent meal - one of many - their chef is very good. We stayed for 3 nights and had entertainment on 2 of those. Beautiful view from the window of the sea front which was lit...

For the price paid no complaints whatsoever. Ratings given for a 2 star grading. Our room was small but perfectly adequate for a 5 day visit (coach party), clean and comfortable. Full English breakfast, if required. Choice of meals in the evening. Table service at both meals. Nic and staff were always cheerful and looked after us very well. Redecoration...
