The public areas of this hotel are fantastic. A nice library area and lounge. Breakfast was superb and great owners/staff. A major problem was the low temperature in the bedroom. There was a heater in the wardrobe, but only discovered it on the second evening. The hot water pressure is also a bit low meaning that the shower is a...

My husband, son and I stayed at this lovely, comfortable hotel in October and were made to feel so welcome for the whole of our stay. Adam, Carrie and Chris were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We had beautiful adjoining rooms in the main house, which were very clean, comfortable and well furnished. Dinner was delicious from...

Booked somewhat on spec from reviews on TA. Very pleasantly surprised, room was very spacious (room 4) and clean. Excellent little touch was a welcome pack for our little dogs - really neat. We had dinner in the restaurant, and i have to say it was amazing - really special. Service was impeccable too! 5 stars well deserved!!

We arrived here last Thursday in lovely weather. The outside of the hotel was very promising - it is in a wonderful and peaceful position and the house is lovely. The staff - well the only two we saw - were extremely helpful and polite and we were duly shown to our room which was in the added on wing....

A smart hotel and our superior room in the main house was a good size. The furniture in the bedroom was a little dated/shabby although the bed was good. The was very poor water pressure on the shower. The main lounge and dinning room were well furnished and smart. Overall a good hotel if a little over priced.

Beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful. The room was basic but clean. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. A very nice weekend away for our wedding anniversary, thoroughly enjoyable.

This was our third visit, we love this hotel, especially as we can take our dog. Rooms are great everything you need, food and dining room 1st class, breakfast to die for. Rural location is just ideal.

Nice approach although signage could be better upon entering as to where to park or drop off disabled guests. Nice welcome - Chris was lovely. Nice room but...... no bottle of water, few extras, shower rail fell down in the night waking us up, grouting dirty in bathroom and bath panel flaking and chipped along with pipework paint too, unreachable...

Went to a wedding anniversary party here in July, a group booking of 40 or so I believe. The location was great and we were in the main dining room with lovely views and a nice garden, fortunately it was a nice day too. It was one of those events where the social side and the getting together were always...
