Lovely little B&B with large airy rooms, en-suit and excellent breakfast, but I was more impressed by the tub of cotton-wool balls and ear-buds....it's the little details that make all the difference! Wi-fi and hot-drink facilities, TV, everything you could need or might, and the staff/owners were very friendly, accommodating and keen to please!

Returned to stay In Kingsbridge and stayed in the house that was the temporary residence for my father in the 1960s. Quite a coincidence. Booked due to excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and was very well looked after by friendly and helpful owners. Based 5 mins walk from Kingsbridge centre with good WiFi to keep "Generation Y" connected to the Internet....

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. This was our second stay. Our daughter lives near Kingsbridge, hence the reason for the visit. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. We were made very welcome. Will hopefully stay again.

We stayed at Ashleigh House whilst attending a local wedding and I must say that nothing was too much trouble for Sue and Richard. We had a beautiful, spotlessly clean, very comfortable room and enjoyed delicious breakfasts on both days. On the day we were leaving, we were able to stay later than 10am in our room, which made the...

My husband and I have visited Ashleigh House every year for the past 4-5 years. My husband grew up in Kingsbridge & didn't know it existed until we booked to stay there the first time. Sue & Richard have been gradually working on updating the property and have done a fantastic job. We have always been warmly welcomed on arrival....

Only had a one night stay at Ashleigh House but had a very warm welcome from Sue, a spotlessly clean, comfortable room and a great veggie breakfast. The B&B is easy walking distance (5 mins) from the centre of Kingsbridge and only a ten min drive to Salcombe or Bantham beach. Visit the Crabshell for dinner while you're here!
