On arrival we were met by Anne at the door who couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The B&B is someway from the road and a car essential to travel to attractions, eateries etc., but makes it feel away from it all and relaxing. The farmhouse can be described as rustic but the bedrooms were spacious and had all...

Lovely B&b on a quite farm. Anne made us feel so at home, breakfast was good and filling and the room we has was really good. This was a good base to explore North Devon and Exmoor. Would have no hesitation recommending Newhouse Farm to others.

Anne is a wonderful host, always willing to help and accomodate! The house is lovely, beds are comfy and everything is clean and very comfortable. One thing...if you are a tall family you might want to request that you are not given the downstairs room (my 6ft daughter couldn't fit in the shower properly and banged her head on the...

Very accommodating host, friendly, warm, cosy, comfy bed and handy kitchen area to warm food after the journey. Lovely quiet and secluded location. Unfortunately didn't have time to explore but the drive our cycle along the river exe is a treat.

I chose this B and B because it has a ground floor room for my mum ( she has limited mobility. There are 2 little steps up to the front door and 2 slightly bigger steps down into the room, which where ok for her.) We were served tea and cake in the garden on our arrival, a nice welcome....

Lovely welcome from Anne, cup of tea and homemade biscuits, let down slightly by the lack of decaf coffee so had a substitute hot choc. Room was lovely and warm, nice to have a sofa, bathroom was beautiful. So... we couldn't get Wifi in the bedroom or the dining room which was a shame, there were no ceiling lights which...

Anne and Derek Boldry receive you in their tastefully furnished 17th century farmhouse, located close to the Exe Valley and the Exmoor National Park. Comfortable and well-appointed ensuite bedrooms. Watch out for those low beams ! The garden is delightful and Anne grows fruit and vegetables in her kitchen-garden. Do not miss the English traditional breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausages,...

Upon arrival you drive down a narrow country lane and at the bottom awaits a peaceful haven and the very welcoming Anne. We stayed for a long weekend for my partners birthday and had the four poster room. A beautiful view of the gardens and surrounding fields and you could hear a pin drop so peaceful. A very handy kitchen...

Arriving late afternoon after a long journey, we were welcomed by Anne Boldry with delicious carrot cake & tea tray. We had the 4 poster bedroom and although we considered the mattress to be soft we had a good nights rest. It was very peaceful with a view of the garden and countryside. The cottage is quaint - a feeling...
