The best hotel for location, cuisine and relaxation. Staff are superb and very accommodating. I first stayed here in 1964 with my then fiancé. I have just taken my family, 14 of us, ranging from 3 to 72 years of age and all were delighted with this very accommodating hotel and staff. We intend to make this an annual family gathering...

On holiday in Devon and came across this hotel, the sun terrace which overlooks the bay was inviting so we stopped. Two alcoholic beverages were around £10. Staff were friendly and courteous. We were non residents but still felt welcomed. A lovely way to spend an hour looking at the sea and enjoying the relaxed ambiance.

We had 5 nights at the Watersmeet which met all our expectations. Location fantastic plus all staff so helpful, cheerful and welcoming. Food in the main restaurant was wonderful. Three courses for £45 with four choices for each course. Not the lowest budget but the quality and service made it great value. Fine dining but not overly stuffy. We tried...

Very difficult not to write a novel about this place describing just how bad it is. Here's a few items for you to consider as I'm short of time today: Shockingly RUDE Restaurant Manageress - I've never been addressed like that in any hotel I've ever visited. DISORGANIZED front desk manager. One minute we have a table, one minute we...

We visited the Watersmeet again to celebrate an anniversary . Our last visit was excellent. However this visit was marred immediately by the fact they their prices had risen dramatically - comparable with London hotels. This would have been ok had their service/food matched up to a top London hotel. It didn't! They were clearly understaffed. What staff were there...

Dear Debbie K, Thank you for taking the time to review your lunch. I am sorry to read that you didn't enjoy your sandwiches.
