Abbotsbury is a typically quaint Engish setting and Wheelwrights depicts all you would expect from such...... The room was spacious separate accomadation from the house, but close enough to smell the bacon cooking for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities very good,we were able to come and go without disturbing our hosts. Breakfast was a total pleasure and our...

We like to celebrate New year without fireworks and auld lang syne . Luckily for us we booked Wheelwrights (which was one of only a few b and bs open over the holiday period in Abbotsbury). Its a lovely cottage in a nice scenic village, in a neat area for walks across fields to the sea and then back to...

Wheelwrights Cottage is a wonderful place to stay! Our room was clean, comfortable, cosy and characterful, and the delightful Sue and Nigel are warm and welcoming hosts, who generously shared their wealth of local knowledge with us. Breakfast, and our cream tea on arrival, were both a real treat.

We have just returned home from a wonderful 4 night stay at Wheelwrights B&B Abbotsbury Dorset. Sue & Nigel are such lovely warm & genuine people. They made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. They shared their knowledge of the area & surrounding for places of interest & nice places to eat & drink. The huge bed was...

Many thanks for such a warm review, and it's good to know that you enjoyed your stay. You ought to know, too, that the balloon plant is doing very well ! We look out at it every morning from the kitchen window. Sue and Nigel

A great local experience in a quaint thatched cottage. A warm welcome with scones and cream which was great after our long walk on the South West Coast Path. Breakfast was equally enjoyable as was our chats with the owners who had previously run the local tea shop.

Having walked in the pouring rain from Weymouth, we were warmly welcomed into this lovely B&B with a much appreciated pot of tea and freshly made scones. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Fully recommend staying here whilst visiting Abbotsbury. Jess & Dave

One of the loveliest B and Bs we have stayed in. Sue and Nigel are such lovely, friendly people and very interesting to talk to. They invited us into their lovely home which is full of character and gave us delicious home-made scones, most welcome indeed! Sue and Nigel are two of the loveliest people we met on our whole trip. They welcomed us into their home and filled us in on the history of the whole town and county. It was wonderful. I was traveling with a 14 year old and one of the best parts was that they spoke to *him* and asked him...

We stopped at this B&B for two nights. Our room, attached to the back of the main house, had its own front door. This gave one that extra bit of privacy. Access is via the back garden and not through the house. Once upon a time the room was used as the dormitory for apprentice wheelwrights. It is self contained...
