Such a nice place to have as a base to explore this area of the country. Nice location , outstanding views from our room, a real comfy large bed and great hosts. A breakfast to die for many thanks for making us so welcome

We had a two night stay at The Abbey House over Easter. We cannot fault the accommodation, breakfast or service. The pretty cottage garden is beautifully maintained to form a tranquil haven where semi-wild pheasants feel at home among the visitors.

Well, we did lunch and a cream tea later. We can't comment on the "stay" part although that is clearly possible! The...

My partner and I had our wedding here in September and it was fantastic. Jonathan, Natasha and the team at Abbey House did everything to make our day special. The food was incredible and the location sold it to us! After the wedding, we stayed in the guest house and the room was lovely - we wished we could have...

Lovely two night stay at Abbey House. Staff were delightful - as was afternoon tea on a rainy afternoon. Great spot to base yourself from if you're touring round Dorset seeing the sights. (We had a lovely - if long! - walk to Chesil Beach and to the Subtropical Gardens.) Room was traditional and absolutely charming. The furnishings aren't new,...

We stayed in Abbotsbury for only a night + loved it. Jonathan + his team keep a (mightily) clean house + the service is amazing. Animals + countryside are gorgeous. Would highly recommend this B+B. Breakfast very good + local restaurants provide well!

We often stop off here for a coffee break whilst making our way from Honiton to Bournemouth by the coastal route. We have visited five times this year so far. We love the little summer house in the garden and unwind here for half an hour over coffee or a cream tea. But recently we decided to stay overnight B&B...

We have just spent 2 days at Abbey House. It is in such a beautiful location, the staff are very obliging and friendly. The breakfast was superb and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay again here.
