Recently returned from a short break at the bridge house, our room was spotlessly clean and had everything that we would ever need. The staff were so accommodating and the manager harry is a real asset I must say as he really went out of his way to ensure we were looked after. We did not fine at the hotel...

A relaxing stay in this gorgeous little hotel nestled in pretty Beaminster, Dorset. We received a warm welcome on arrival and first class service throughout our stay. Our two dogs were made very welcome with their own towels and treats provided in our room. There is an enclosed, large garden for dogs to relax and they were allowed in the...

Very last minute booking so had the last room. Was advised that the room (9) had a fan outside which some customers found intrusive- this was open and honest - we took the room - the fan was only 'there' when the kitchen was open and we did not find it an issue The welcome at reception was good with...

We were on a walking tour and arrived at 9.30 in the morning and were welcomed with coffee and the room was made available early and our wet clothing dried for us. The room was absolutely superb as was the restaurant and the staff. Can't wait to return.

Stayed 3 nights in one of the coach house rooms. The room was comfortable and well presented. There's a lovely comfortable lounge where you can enjoy a pre dinner drink. The staff were all excellent , very pleasant and helpful , we had a minor issue with the heating in our room not coming on when we first arrived which...

Absolutely loved every second of our stay here! We travelled as a large group (8 in total), but it was not a problem for the staff. Accommodating in every way and extremely helpful and friendly. We can be a bit of a disorganised bunch, but the staff took us is their stride. We even stayed for dinner as the menu...

This hotel is a classic Dorset style building and quite stunning. They do not have many rooms and our stay was in the old stable block. It was supremely comfortable. The restaurant was very comfortable and the menus for breakfast and lunch were tasty. The lounge are was cosy with a large open fire and the bar area next door...

We stayed here for one night and found the location and hotel to be beautiful. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. The only criticism would be that there was a fair amount of dust in the room, cracks in the walls and cobwebs - definitely needs a thorough deep clean. Great breakfast with good quality produce. We...

It was only a short stay but we were made so welcome. This is a period house and the decor and furnishings are in keeping. Our room had a beautiful four poster bed that was so comfortable. The linen felt really luxurious as well. All in all a great nights sleep. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have...
