Booked a room with a sea view for a night to celebrate a Birthday - on arrival shown to room with a four poster bed which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately cold and wet outside so opted for a drink in the Smugglers Bar which is well appointed and pleasant for an afternoon chat. Dinner in the evening preceded by...

We went to celebrate our daughter's birthday by going to listen to her favorite guitarist (John Williams) in the Eype Church. We stayed at this wonderful hotel and realized that the food was amazing and the people were very kind. Our daughter says that she would like to go again and stay there longer! (actually she wants to live there!!)

Fantastic meal and lodgings at this hotel. The staff are very attentive and the food is delicious - the menu changes daily. The sea bass, as recommended by the chef, was heavenly. Room was comfortable with great views. Can't wait to return!

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, family run hotel in lovely location and sea views. Excellent food and service: delightful, helpful, friendly staff and owners. Very relaxing stay. Short downhill walk to the sea or, from there, up above to the high cliff paths.

This is about the sixth or seventh time we have stayed at this hotel over the years. It has been owned by the same family for a long time and so the quality and welcome has been consistent over this time. The room we stayed in was comfortable and the food was great, good choice and well cooked. The breakfasts...

We all enjoyed our time here, such helpful caring staff, they even dried our boots in the boiler room. Breakfast superb and a good choice on the dinner menu Rooms were good with comfy beds. Narrow road to get to this gem of a hotel with ample parking. Would certainly stay here again

Set in the small Dorset village of Eype, near Bridport, Eype's Mouth Country Hotel is a family run 17 bedroom hotel. With superb sea views and only a few minutes walk to the beach, the hotel occupies a unique position on the Heritage Coastline. This stunning location, recently filmed Broadchurch television drama, provides the opportunity to walk along the Coastal Path with much to explore and observe for the keen rambler, ornithologist, anthropologist or geologist.Overlooking Lyme Bay and the beautiful coastal path, the Restaurant offers a three course table d'hote menu with plenty of choice for each course. Changed daily, the menu is created by Chef to take advantage of the locally produced foods and includes specialities such as locally caught fish, superb meats and fruit and vegetable farm produce from just north of Bridport. The Admirals Bar is located on the ground floor and open all day to residents. Perfect for pre-dinner drinks, sit and relax over a well deserved aperitif and a few nibbles and peruse the menu.
