This hotel is in a stunning location with excellent views. Our stay was disappointing. The bedroom, No 1, with four poster bed was jaded and not what you would expect given the price we paid for 4 star accommodation. The bedding was unusual by today's standards with a blanket, satin cover with beads which rattled every time you moved and...

Very disappointed with our two night stay. Family room (room 12) at front was big enough but there was no wifi nor working tv and the bedside lamp was not repaired despite their promise. Our room was noisy from outside and from other rooms and the bar. The jukebox was repaired at our request. The evening meal was poor value...

We stayed at the vineyard for a long weekend in august. The hotel is in a good quiet location and we were lucky as we had a room with a good view. The rooms are very nicely decorated but are very very small especially the bathrooms. I wouldn't expect to pay this price for such cramped accommodation. I agree with...

My husband and I stayed at the Purbeck Vineyard for a night to celebrate his birthday in August. The hotel is stunning and I can't think of one thing that isn't perfect about it!! It's in a great location between Swanage and Corfe and is a perfect base for exploring the stunning Dorset coastline and charming villages and towns. We...

Our stay at Purbeck Vineyard was a curious mixture of highs and lows. We arrived on Sunday 24 July, admittedly about an hour earlier that the quoted check in time. We were looking to deposit our luggage before taking a trip to Studland. It was a scene reminiscent of the Marie Celeste. Despite my walking around the ground and first...

We booked this hotel at short notice knowing that the only available room was the standard twin, described elsewhere as small and not having the vineyard view. Whilst that is indeed the case, the room was of a very good standard with an excellent bathroom - one of the best we've found. Extra touches such as bathrobes, tea making facilities...

We stayed for one night in a family room - great value - to visit corfe castle. The manageress could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, from extending the heating to letting us check out late since I felt iunwell. And the views from the breakfast room were stunning. It's not luxury but its very good...

V brief review. I stayed here on a family re-union. The rooms were nice, the staff when available were helpful and the food was excellent. The kids had a great time. At times during the day there was no-one around. It is simply a function of the staffing of this "bed-and-breakfast" like place and is not a reflection on the...
