We stayed here on a Sunday night on the run-up to Christmas and had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel, a beautiful 16th century Grade 2 Elizabethan manor house, is full of character and charm. Our room was in the original part of the hotel and was warm of a reasonable size and had a very clean en-suite...

Needed a cup of tea and piece of cake, couldn't park anywhere else, have driven past this place hundreds of times, we will definitely not be passing by again. VERY accommodating, we were muddy with kids but the staff were GREAT. Afternoon tea inside: lovely. Beautiful, beautiful place. We will definitely be back.. without the kids!

Myself and 6 friends booked an afternoon cream tea here on Saturday 3rd Dec. We all live and work locally, and this was a return visit following a very successful afternoon 12m ago. How things had changed! We were told categorically we were "not allowed to congregate around the fire" in the lounge, as this was reserved for residents only...

Stayed three nights in the main building at the end of November. Friendly, helpful staff, log fire, delicious dinner and hearty breakfasts. Comfortable bed, warm room, constant hot water. Lovely location in delightful village surrounded by beautiful, interesting countryside.

We went here for my father in law 70th birthday party. All started well however when the food arrived it was poor some of the meals were ok, but most not nice. The food was very over priced for the service received. The receptionist was also rude to myself and child. Overall I will not be going back.

We have been visiting Corfe for close on 30 years now and always said we would stay here one day. To be honest, we worried that it might be a little formal and grand but we needn't have been concerned, the staff were very friendly, welcoming and down to earth which made for a relaxed time. We had the Purbeck...

From the moment we arrived our every wish was catered for. My first visit to this area and it will certainly not be the last. I really can't wait to visit again. The hotel was very welcoming, warm, clean. Very friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant with outstanding food. We had dinner and breakfast both of which I could not fault. Thank...

Spent one night at this beautiful, friendly hotel with 10 friends for a birthday celebration. The rooms are lovely. We occupied rooms in the hotel and also in the annex, all of which were great. The food was amazing: the sea bass was perfect. Good menu choice for all. Breakfast was also very good with a never ending supply of...

Great location in centre of village and lovely local surroundings. If you are a light sleeper or late riser you might want to avoid a room on the front due to the near main road.....quiet lat at night at this time of year but busy from 6am onwards in the morning. Great staff and friendly helpful atmosphere, with well carpeted...

We stayed here for two nights last weekend. The hotel was full but we managed to get a table for dinner and it was so good we ate there again the second night. (We go away about once a month and never eat in the same place twice) Special mention for two of the waiting staff, young Tiffany who has...
