We spent a very enjoyable long weekend on Portland enjoying extraordinary weather and stunning coastal scenery. The weather isn't guaranteed, the scenery would be amazing in all weather. The cottage is very near Portland Bill lighthouse with sweeping sea views, the views of the sunset were beautiful. We stayed in the double bedroom, which was small but adequate. The bathroom...

A warm welcome and a cup of tea was just what we needed after a day spent walking. A good evening meal from the pub across the road before watching the sun set behind pulpit rock. A hearty breakfast the following morning, before we set off again along the coast path. (If you're walking the south-west-coast-path, don't be tempted to...

We have stayed at Kath's & Graham's for a week and it has been the loveliest week in a few years now. Their place is absolutely amazing, full of naval themed decorations, the bedroom is big enough for two people and their belongings, plenty of storage room, the bathroom is always extremely clean, and Kathy and Graham are amazing hosts....

Fairview cottage is a delightful place to stay, the only thing more welcome than the stunning views of Portland Bill lighthouse from the bedroom window, was the welcome itself. The owners make you feel incredibly at home from the off. Despite us being very badly delayed and thus arriving horrendously late at night, Kathy was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The...

from the minute you meet the owners and walk in you just know you will enjoy your stay - they are both so friendly and relaxed you can't help feeling that way too - the cottage is clean and welcoming with a nautical theme - the bathroom along the landing is exclusive to the guests - the (double) room was...

Fairview cottage is a great place to stay. I have stayed there on several occasions over the past 12 years. When you arrive you are made very welcome by the owners Kathy or Graham. The cottage is spotlessly clean. The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed with fresh clean bed linen and plenty of space to put your clothes....

This B & B does have a really lovely view, looking straight out at Portland Bill's lighthouse, and the sea beyond. It's very quiet there at night, It is opposite a pub that serves good if over priced food. This is a really tiny cottage and you have to muck in with the owners, as there is no septerate facilites...

Thank you for your review. We advertise as a small and friendly Bed & Breakfast and people enjoy the room with the views. The room is adequate for sleeping, with plenty of storage space. My very reasonable rates reflect this.
