I was a little concerned when we decided we needed a base to walk on the 'Island' that this would be an uncomfortable Georgian House. In fact the opposite was true run by Gillian Hole in a very professional way -comfortable and in a truly rural location forming part of this amazing rural and beautiful landscape within easy reach of...

We had a room at the front of the house, which had the added bonus of a view of Corfe castle in the distance. We met first with our friends at the associated cavells restaurant near Kimmeridge Bay. We were the guided personally to the farmhouse, which is a magnificent old farmhouse - very grand. Our room was very spacious...

We stayed here with friends last month and were delighted with our choice. Although very much a working farm, the farmhouse itself is tranquil and very comfortable. Mrs Hole served delicious, well-presented breakfasts and was on hand to pass on her extensive knowledge of the area, which we had not visited before. If we come back to the Isle of...

We visited this B+B as a familiy, staying in two rooms, side by side, every with its own bath, which was ideal. Rooms and the whole farm house are really beautiful. Mrs+Mr Hole welcomed us with an outstanding hospitality, we and our children enjoyed talking with them a lot. Last not least to mention: the extraordinary service regarding rooms and...

This is a family run farm with a beautiful home! Gillian has the gift of hospitality and we loved our room which was large and spacious with a modern bathroom. We were only going to stay one night but loved it so much we stayed longer. The area is gorgeous and we drove through beautiful countryside and hiked to Durdle...

Firstly Bradle is a lovely, serene building and part of a working farm. We turned up late after a long hike along the SWCP & were made to feel very welcome. Great room & excellent en-suite - bath and all. Hosts went out of their way to help us & even took us to Kimmeridge for the Thursday fish and...

As I said last year this Farmhouse is the best. Gillian is the most knowledgeable person about the surrounding areas and never ceases to be interested in what you have been doing and where you are looking at going the following day. As usual the accommodation is excellent and the food second to none. For a working farm it is...

My wife and I recently finished hiking the SWC Path and stayed here one night. This was one of the nicest places we stayed. Everything was wonderful -- room was large, bed was great, shower nice and hot! The one problem is it is a long walk to get dinner and you need to go early! If you are driving,...

Lovely farmhouse, off the beaten track. Rooms, food & hosts all excellent. We will definitely return for another stay! Lovely walks and drives from the farmhouse, perfect for a get away from it all weekend. Clavells Restaurant about a mile away is well worth a visit.
