Excellent stay the staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. We were in Aberdour for a wedding at a neighbouring hotel they gave us an early check in so we could get ready. Rooms were a great size and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and had a lovely meal in the bar. If ever in the area would definitely stay here again.

I arrived early evening and I was checked in efficiently. I was able to make reservations for both dinner and breakfast. I had a lovely curry and beer the waitress was very attentive and was the same person that checked me in. My room was on the first floor and there’s no lift but this is normal in a small hotel. A lovely warm room , with the odd bit of cosmetic damage. There was nobody around after 9:30 on and the place was in darkness although there was a sign explaining this. There was plenty of choice on the breakfast menu again served by two very friendly staff members.

We stayed a night here while walking the Fife Coastal Path. People were very nice. The hotel is very walkable and is on the coastal path. Friendly check in. Room was small. Shower worked well. Bed was a small double with dense hard pillows and even with the heating off the room was too warm. We slept with the window open all night and still were too hot. Everyone who we met who works here was lovely. The ladies who served in the bar had great fun energy. The lady who checked us in was nice. The breakfast lady was very positive. Dinner food was good too. Big portions and very tasty. Breakfast (cooked) also great.

My family had a meal there just before the new year and we had a fabulous evening! The food was amazing, cooked perfectly and well presented - and on plates! Not those daft wooden boards. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating, arranging for us to be seated out of the way in the bar area because my mother had brought her dog. It was warm and comfortable and while nicely busy we never had to raise our voices. If I had to have one complaint It would be that there was no cheesecake on the menu, but I happily made do with the home made Sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and Ice cream. We would all happily go there again.

Just back from a weekend visit here with the wife and 2 dogs. Staff were excellent and couldn't be anymore helpful. We were allocated room 21 which is in the courtyard. Large room with no bath just a shower. The room was OK nothing special and could do with a wee makeover but as we were only using it as a base it was more than adequate. The bathroom is also OK but a light above the shower cubicle should be fitted. I'm not claustrophobic, but the shower cubicle is very dark while having a shower. As for the room location, as I said this is in the courtyard which is also used as the beer garden. It wasn't used very much on our visit, but in the summer I can imagine this being an issue if its busy in the beer garden, and you want an early night. I can't see it being very quiet. We ate in the restaurant on both nights of our stay, and the food was excellent. Delivered quickly, lots of it and it was very very good, and reasonably priced. I believe the original chef is back? Breakfast was also excellent. The staff, both during the day and night were superb as were the breakfast staff. This hotel is great for an easy commute to Burntisland, Dunfermline and other places in Fife and I would highly recommend staying here. The only downside is you have to park in the railway car park, which is about 400 metres away. But it's not really a hardship. 😂

From start to end and after, the staff were great, from sandwiches when we arrived very late to posting on an item left behind, and at every time in between. The courtyard room was very large and comfortable, dinner in the hotel was very good too. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the stay. Great spot on the high street with the beach 5 mins walk away. Staff were very friendly and really enjoyed the barista style coffee from the bar. Will definitely look out for the place if I'm ever back in the area.

Reasonable price for 2 night stay. Our room was okay, the bathroom was quite small with the smallest shower cubicle. The shower head leaked from the connection. The beds weren’t very comfortable. The food was nice and the staff & service was great. The beach is downhill from the hotel and the train station is very close where you can park overnight for free.
