Totally unique combination of amazing location, old fashioned home comforts in historic building and surroundings, with modern day facilities. So sorry to have stayed on the 2 days per week that the highly awarded restaurant is closed. It is extraordinary to find somewhere so calm, peaceful and picturesque with clear views of Edinburgh city which is a convenient 30 minute...

We stayed for 3 nights and found the place wonderfully clean and quaint. The views of Edinburgh over the water were wonderful. The location is a beautiful quiet town with a very easy and quick train ride straight to the city centre. There are some lovely walks around and the building has some great history attached to it.

My 13 year old grandson and I stayed at the Forth View Hotel in July and enjoyed the amazing surroundings of cliffs, sea, rocks, views of Edinburgh and Arthur's Seat just across the water. The hotel was very comfortable, small boutique B&B with access to the award winning seafood restaurant, the Room with a View. Pauleen, Hannah and Tim made...

Booked a night (with dinner) at the Forth View as a convenient mid way point on a 2-day section of the Fife Coastal Path - the hotel is fantastically located right on the coast, so that no extra mileage need be added to the long distance walk. Overstretched ourselves on the first day's walk from Kincardine and looked set to...

We stayed for 9 nights while visiting schools in the Kingdom of Fife. I found it by checking tripadvisor.com for quaint B&B's in the Edinburgh area. What a find it was! Pauleen is the perfect hostess and proprietor! She was so accommodating of us while we were waiting to hear if our trip to Scotland would come together. Once it...

Could not have been better. To begin, we were met with the quintessential Scottish accommodations overlooking the Firth of Forth. The views were amazing! The grounds were neatly manicured with cliffs to the east that caught the golden hour sunlight, then a gentle breeze. A deep sigh and then we entered. Many places visited say that they are "true Scottish...

We stayed three nights while attending the Open at St. Andrews. We were greeted by Pauleen, the innkeeper and owner. Very kind welcome and showed us to our room. Accommodations are comfortable and clean. Had dinner right at the hotel and truly it is one of the best meals we have ever had and we travel often. Pauleen's daughter ,...

Unfortunately we only stayed one night. But it was more than enough to appreciate this charming small family run hotel, right on the beach. The rooms need some upgrading, but they are clean, covering all basic needs, and they have a breathtaking sea view which easily helps you forget any mishaps. The staff is friendly and helpful. As for the...

Stayed at Pauleen's quaint place for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the property and the company. Pauleen is a gracious and helpful hostess. Looking forward to our next visit to Aberdour, and will definitely be staying at Forth View Hotel again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay at the Forthview. We appreciated Pauleen's generous and personal service, local insights, tasty local food, and stunning views over the Forth river. Our dinner at Hannah's 'Seaview restaurant' was excellent. Thanks for a great holiday! We would happily visit again.
