Nice tradiotional breakfast, cosy atmosphere, great honesty bar - and great hospitality; one of us suffered from a cold but we had ran out of painkillers upon check out, but Spindrift supplied us with a batch of paracetamols, which really made the trip to Edinburgh more convenient. Thanks!

Just spent a few nights here with friends. Very welcoming hosts and friendly, efficient staff. Super-clean, without feeling uncomfortable. Breakfast was top notch and our evening meal was excellent value, beautifully cooked and presented. The dated ( but immaculate) decor and lots of ornaments won't be to everyone's taste, but it all creates a warm, friendly ambience and Christine and...

Is this the perfect B&B? Certainly the best I've stayed in during trips to Scotland. Very friendly owners with excellent food, great ambience including a well stocked honesty bar in the lounge. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was superb especially the porridge and eggs benedict. Highly recommend a stay with easy travel to St Andrews.

Stayed here Sept 15 and 16 2014 with another couple. We arrived a bit early but was told that was no problem. We were invited into the lounge while they finished making up our rooms. Hospitality was great and the breakfast here was the best we had in Scotland. The bar in the lounge had a very good variety to...

We stayed for the last 2 nights of our honeymoon, our room was decorated when we came back in the evening with congratulations banners/balloons/ streamers,...

I am not a B & B person usually however if more places like this were available I think I might be converted. Extremly well maintained. Food is good and freshly cooked. Beds are well presented. Bathrooms in excellent condition. This town is only a few miles from St. Andrews which makes it a convenient location if accommodation is not...

Booked because of the reviews. We stayed end of August. Our room was out of the eighties. The furnishings were dated and room quite small. There was no where to sit and put make up on. The chest of drawers was stacked with magazines and cuddly toys on the bed. Not to everyone's taste. The lounge is full of family...

Thank you for your feedback and we are concerned that you did not enjoy your stay with us recently. We do read the comments from our guests and find both positives and negatives a great way to measure guest satisfaction levels. From your comments we would presume you were in Bedroom 2, (Pittenweem) and although we fitted a new carpet...

We recently had a three night stay at "The Spindrift" and wished we had booked for longer. This is a wonderful B & B with hosts Christine and Ken going out of their way to make your stay a place to remember. The room we had was on the top floor in the attic but don't let that put you...
