This hotel looks so cute and inviting from outside but was wee bit disappointed when went inside which is my fault as I assumed it would be comfy chairs and wee coal fire, Ok so I'm a Dreamer! But it was more like a wee canteen, nothing wrong in canteens but just didn't expect it. We had a coffee and...

Out for a walk round Falkland on a cold wintry day but brightened up when we popped in for a drink & a coffee to their cosy lounge bar . Lovely log burner making it nice & warm . Didn't have to wait to get served even though the place was quite busy. Service was quick & very warmly welcomed.

My wife and I stayed in the Covenanter Hotel as part of a tour we were doing of the Outlander film sets. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we could not have been better catered for, there is a very welcoming, beautifully decorated and friendly bar complete with wood burning stove, which serves a good selection...

OK we stayed here because of Outlander and probably would never have visited otherwise. That said, we really enjoyed our stay in 'Mrs Baird's B&B'. This isn't a luxurious place but our room was comfortable, warm, clean and more than good enough for an overnight stay. We also had an evening meal at The Covenanter and it really impressed us,...

We didn't stay here, but stopped by as part of a Trafalgar Tour- Celtic Filmscapes. The village of Falkland was extensively used as the town where Clair and Fank are having their second Honeymoon in Episode 1 of Outlander. The Covenanter Hotel was transformed into Mrs. Baird's B&B for the show. The town has a beautiful time out of place...

On our way to Falkland Palace we stopped by in this place and I'll tell you this, it's a great place to have morning coffee before you go on a long tour of Falkland Palace which is just across the road from this place.

Falkland is a step back in time, fantastic for walks or just looking at buildings that have not had cladding added , plenty of pubs for a small place all with their own history and style ,you also have a water fountain that you cant miss ,go have fun and enjoy

It was a thrill to stay at this hotel as we loved the Outlander series. The facade is appealing but the inside is quite modern. The rooms are very nicely furnished and comfortable but nothing like the ones shown in the film. Our mattress was a bit lumpy but the bathroom was spacious and everything else was fine. Falkland is...

Pretty basic food really with the usual serving of boring bland mixed veg. We used to come here often & thought we would try it under new management but wouldn't rush back. My cod wrapped in parma ham sounded good on the menu but it was over cooked & i didn't like the ratatouille it was served with. My husband...

My room was quite large, the bed comfortable. There isn’t much of a view but a roof but the size of the room makes up for it. Nice bathroom with heated towel rack but no tub, only a shower. Not enough plugs, though. The wifi was really fast and free. They did need curtains that kept out the light. The...
