Upon arrival, we were given our keys but the room had not been cleaned, then when we were told it was ready we observed the notice on the wall of our room, which stated that it was pet friendly and that if your dog slept on the bed, you are supposed to use your own dog blanket or towels!! Which...

Got a great deal on Groupon, but wasn't to sure about the whole thing. We used to go to the area in the early 80's and it was OK then. What a surprise on this visit. It was excellent. The whole place was so very warm and welcoming. The only drawback was that the central heating didn't come on until...

Stayed for 3 nights while working locally, this hotel has the friendliest staff, fantastic food with fish dishes to rival top city restaurants, the sea bass was outstanding. However the view and the sound of sea was very relaxing.

Just back from my 30th dinner, hadn't been to the crusoe in over 5 years and it was good to see the standards were still there. The feedback from my friends regarding the starters were great, the main course of partridge was sublime. I especially liked the beetroot gratin. The only setback was 4 of my friends had the doughnuts...

Just had a delicious evening meal here, well cooked and hot. Good friendly staff. Pleasantly busy for December. Can recommend both the chicken with salsa and the steak and ale pie. Sticky toffee pudding is delicious.

This was a deal so inexpensive but it was a nice break pub type meals were good. Breakfast was very good. Too adequate but limited heating so a bit chilly! Staff were friendly. Location interesting. Almost like being on a ship.

We stayed for a short break and specified a sea view room This we certainly got as the beach (and the tide)was right outside the(first floor) bedroom window. Our room was in the newer part of the hotel and was well decorated and very comfortable. We found the food very good, to the extent that we ate in the hotel...

My friend and I think the previous review is very unfair. We found the moment we arrived at the Crusoe we were welcomed. We cannot comment on their room but ours was lovely and clean with fantastic views across the water. Lovely and cosy too. Our meals were lovely both nights and again served with a smile. Breakfast was lovely...

We have being going to the Cruseo hotel for many years, what we always liked was the location, in one of our favourite villages in Fife, the hotel and the bar area allow dogs at no extra cost, and most importantly the bar food has always been very good, so we took the plunge and decided to stay the night....

A mini break away with husband. Great location with stunning views. Staff are great and food served all cooked fresh on the premises. Right on the coastal route so take a good pair of walking shoes and enjoy the outdoors. Hotel is dog friendly and your dog can join you in the bar for meals. There is separated dining if...
