Stayed two nights on a National Trust of Scotland coach tour. The food and service was very good and the bedroom more than adequate with beautiful view over the bay. Only minor criticism(s) is that the swimming pool (which looks pretty basic) can be viewed from the dining room also the excellent free entertainment provided by a very talented, young,...

The Isle of Arran is a piece of heaven in a busy world. The Best Western Kinloch Hotel is a credit to this part of the world. Located right next to the water and stunning views from the rooms and restaurant do this hotel proud. The management, reception staff (Deborah), the restaurant staff (Cara, Jordan & Ross) were attentive, professional...

Stayed three nights here and had a great stay. Used Tesco vouchers to pay for the bulk of the cost, and was worried about being treated differently- needn't have been concerned. Hotel is well located looking across to Mull of Kintyre - lovely sunsets. Restaurant and bar comfortable and food range reasonably giood, though there was soem delay between courses...

Currently staying at this super hotel on Arran. Location overlooking the water is special, but even more special are the lovely staff and great food. Swimming pool and rooms are also good, and whole experience has been excellent. Not an entertainment hotel normally but tonight an excellent young singer songwriter provided gentle soulful music as well. My first visit to...

The Kinloch is probably one of my favourite places to stay, it has everything you need but most of all the staff are exceptional. Whether you are booking a table, getting a pot of coffee with your breakfast or ordering a pint, everybody has time for you. The majority of rooms have breathtaking views and are clean with all the...

Decent room, clean and with sea views. Hotel's leisure facilities are good, the food is excellent but the highlight are the staff who are exceptional. The Island location makes it a wee adventure and the staff can arrange a minibus to get you from whichever ferry you arrive on.
