Four of us decided to take a lodge rather than separate rooms so that we would have a sitting area to meet rather than someone's room or common area in the hotel. This proved to be the perfect solution and our plan worked out well. The lodge lives up to its title very well as it was indeed luxurious with...

The Auchrannie resort is a beautiful location comprising an older classic style hotel, a modern spa hotel and a number of detached and semi-detached lodges all on the same extensive site. We stayed in a 3 bedroom executive lodge which was ideal for us as our party comprised two single adults and one married couple. Our lodge was well appointed...

Booked in for a massage at the spa resort and it was an excellent experience. The staff were professional and polite and very friendly. The area where we were was dog friendly and the staff made such a fuss over our French Bulldog Puppy, Mabel I was so impressed with the massage I booked again, a couple of days later...

Three of us visited the spa for treatments. The staff were fantastic- even looking after my little French Bulldog as we swapped over between appointments. A beautiful relaxing experience with friendly helpful staff. We have booked in again before we leave!

Just returned from our 4th visit to Auchrannie Spa Resort and as usual was so impressed with everything they offer especially the free upgrade we received on checking in we were told this was because we had stayed with them a few times before what ever the reason it was a lovely surprise. We were upgraded to a room in...

We have just spent 2 nights in an executive lodge. We decided to stay in a lodge this time rather than the hotel as we have 3 young boys and the lodge was easier for us. The lodges are finished to a very high standard. Lots of space and very modern. Very well thought out and geared up for kids....

A super weekend for couple and probably ideal for families. Great food, super leisure facilities. Did like having a patio outside our room. Plenty to do on the island. Brambles was a super dinner venue. Scottish tapas was less successful. Breakfast at Cruize was great.

Great three days away with friends. Enjoyed the spa experience with 10 minutes in the relaxation room and pods before the half hour treatment and 10 minutes with herbal tea after. Good pool and facilities. Lovely varies breakfast selection with cooked to order fish and poached eggs. We also enjoyed the Cruise restaurant for dinner and drinks. Love the coffee...

Pool was cold and could have been heated better. The steam room lacked in steam, although hot. Sauna was nice! Was pricey at £6.50 for facilities use. The lady on reception was also a bit abrupt in her mannerism. Possibly due to language barrier but could have been dealt with better mannerisms.

It has taken me some time to write this review but Iv got here! Last November I travelled with my husband and a group of friends to Auchrannie to celebrate my friends 30th birthday. We were collected by hotel staff at the ferry which was excellent and taken to the hotel. We were very lucky to have secured a new...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of the beautiful isle of Arran lies the multi-award winning, family owned Auchrannie Resort. Auchrannie now consists of two four star hotels; the romantic and relaxing ‘House Hotel’ catering for couples and those wanting a more intimate experience whilst the contemporary ‘Spa Resort’ is popular with families and those prefer a more modern feel to their surroundings. In addition, the resort features 30 five-star self-catering lodges (sleeping up to 8 in total luxury and therefore perfect for the extended family), 3 outstanding, award winning restaurants and bars, 2 leisure centres both with pools, destination spa featuring treatments by ESPA and Ishga and an outdoor adventure centre. Arran is Scotland’s most accessible islands, often referred to as "Scotland in Miniature” due to the dramatic contrast between the hills and mountains in the north, and sweeping moorlands on the south of the island. A short 55 minute ferry journey off the Ayrshire coast, Arran is easily reachable by those arriving into any of central Scotland’s main airports as well as those travelling by car, train and coach. Whilst many tourists arrive on the island simply to kick back and relax, the island is packed with attractions and sights for visitors of all ages. ... more   less
