We stayed here a few years ago and it has stuck in our mind ever since. We were given a warm welcome by Hugh and Isobel and were treated to scones and tea. We cannot rate our stay at Mingulay highly enough. Great location in Whiting Bay just a short stroll from some great places to eat (including Coast, Trafalger Restaurant & the Coffee Pot) with fantastic views from the breakfast table over Whiting bay. Hugh welcomed us in when we arrived, and we were treated to an afternoon tea of fresh scones and cake! Spent 2 lovely nights at the Mingulay B&B. Isobel and Hugh treated us like friends from the start and took very good care of us. I highly recommend staying with them if you on the Isle of Arran.

We stayed for 2 nights, attending a friend's birthday party not far away in Whiting Bay. The weather was terrible! - but we slept well, had a terrific breakfast and enjoyed watching Isobel feeding the (wild) ducks in the mornings.
