We had the pleasure of staying at Knockomie Lodge for 3 nights. I contacted Catherine prior to arriving as I knew we would be late, unfortunately my sat-nav took me down a very quiet lane so I had to ring her saying I was close but not close enough so she directed me and stood outside the lodge waving to me! We had a wonderful warm welcome, our room was perfect as was the en-suite, we had a separate sitting room to use as we pleased, the room had everything you needed including a phone charge plug, soft fluffy flannels, hand soap.shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, tea tray with fresh cold milk, biscuits plenty of hanging space with hangers everything was perfect. Breakfast was served in the conservatory ~ there was everything you could wish for and more besides I think she has the biggest selection of Teas this side of China! The Lodge is spotlessly clean, rooms sublime, food fantastic and company first class. I would have no hesitation in recommending Knockomie to couples or singles, it is ideally situated within the Malt Whiskey trail, there are many other places to visit nearby. We have already warned Catherine that we'll be back!

This is a wonderful BnB. The house is in immaculate condition, clean, tidy, and the room we had came with an en-suite with a huge shower. Breakfast was superb. But the highlight was chatting with Catherine about anything and everything. A delightful place, thoroughly recommended.

My wife and I were visiting Forres for a wedding and had the pleasure of staying here 3 nights. The lodge was well kept and our room was spotless. We had all the amenities in our room required for our stay. Breakfast was excellent and I would definitely recommend going for the cooked option. Katherine was very friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty for us which was greatly appreciated. If we’re ever staying in Forres again we would definitely book here. Would recommend booking here if in the area.

We ended up at the Knockomie Lodge after a series of SNAFUs that left us without lodging at the height of tourist season. Even though they were booked, the propietress made room for us and made every effort to make us feel at home. The house was immaculate and felt like home. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. It was hard to say good bye. If you're ever in need of a room in the vicinity east of Inverness, I can't recommend Knockomie Lodge enough. Thanks for everything Catherine!

Had the best 3 day stay here, Catherine is just the most wonderful host you could meet. She’s so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The location is just spot on and her home has been made to feel like ours. Beautiful breakfast and a very comfy room. We will definitely be back. Thank you Catherine for an awsome stay. Stayed for one night when visiting Forres for a family funeral. We took both rooms and were all delighted with our stay. The house was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The attention to detail in the decor and the level of service contributed to a first rate stay. An extremely high quality breakfast was included in the price, making it very good value for money. Katherine and Alistair were perfect hosts. I would recommend Knockomie Lodge without hesitation.

Knockomie Lodge is a five star bed and breakfast It has two bedrooms which are furnished to a very high standard with ensuite in both rooms The breakfast menu is very varied with a suitable taste for all and should there be nothing to please the host is more than willing to make something of your choice if possible, you must try the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup! The guest lounge is very comfortable complete with a very large flat screen television There is plenty off road parking four about four cars and for dog owners the host has a kennel which maybe available if requested in advance. The lodge is situated within a lovely quiet area but also very close to Forres town centre, This is an ideal location to visit all the near by attractions and the distilleries of the Spey Valley I would have no hesitation in recommending Kockomie Lodge for your stay, it’s excellent

The bed and breakfast is a first class place to stay The rooms are fantastic modern and very well equipped, very quiet giving a great nights sleep It is very well located with plenty parking There is a fantastic choice of menu for breakfast with some items that are not available on most B&Bs, that hardest part is making your choice. The hosts Catherine and Alisdair got out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect in every department This is a great area to explore with some great places to visit I would have no hesitation in recommending Knockomie Lodge and offers as good a stay as some excellent hotels
