We stayed for 2 nights. The room was in a poor state. Worn down furniture, especially the beds. Bedding seemed not clean. Bathroom was OK. Breakfast wasn't nice at all. Room wasn't done after the first night. We will definitely NOT go back.

Dropped in by for lunch, we (and Wilson the dog) were welcomed with friendly staff had a lovely lunch. Mushroom soup for me , Scottish breakfast for husband Wilson had a dog chew followed by coffee and an array of Walkers biscuits still eating the doggy bag. Thank You!

Two of us visited this bar , for the first time , on route to football. Bar is well lit, bright , airy , and has a great display of Glenrothes whiskies. Unfortunately didn’t have a dram , but had excellent pints of lager, served by very friendly, welcoming bar staff. Could easily have stayed all afternoon , but football called. Look forward to visiting again soon. Well done.

Stayed here 3 nights due to work in Elgin , stayed in room 12 , the seal round the bathtub has a lot of black mould and if you have a shower the water leeks under the bath and out into the floor, a very basic hotel . Glad my boss paid for it because I certainly wouldn’t have stayed here .

We went to the hotel in 2018 and went back for the Spirit of Speyside festival in 2019. We really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Parking close by. Child friendly. Good food. Stocked Whisky Bar.

Spent an overnight here with friends. Ate in the restaurant- food was basic, nothing special. Room -we were in bankvault 1. Which was downstairs in a separate building to the main bar/restaurant. Room was large with reasonable facilities. Tea/coffee making facilities available- only enough milk to have one cup or something each. Might be an idea to provide more. Bed was large and comfortable. It was cold in the room with no way of heating it up and no extra bedding. Bathroom- shower was extremely hot which was great. Shower gel and soap had been refilled and not was it said on the bottle- something to be aware of for allergies. Tried to pay for our accommodation in the morning before we left but the cook couldn’t take payment and was the only person available. We had tried to make payment the previous night but again no one available to pay. So had to make other arrangements. Hotel didn’t start serving breakfast until 0730 and there was no flexibility in this so we left with no breakfast. Would I stay again- if nothing else was available then yes but not first choice.

Easy to book, warmly greeted at check-in (got a nice wee upgrade too), room was clean and well appointed with a really comfortable bed. I managed to fit in a tour of the local Glen Grant Distillery and a game of Highland League football at Mackessack Park on the afternoon/evening of my stay - both less than half a mile stroll from the hotel. Great Full Scottish Breakfast to set me up for the day ahead.

We had two rooms booked. Both of them were so bad it was almost amusing - but not really given the high cost. Plywood headboard, base of bed not covered, exposed floorboards in the cupboards, couldn't be bothered to show us to our rooms, smell of cauliflower, cheap plastic toilet brush, no glasses or water bottles in the room, only one bedside table, squew switches, ripped paper on the ceiling, cheap linoleun bathroom flooring, carpet cut pieces, and I could go on.
