First class hotel, the service and the food were both excellent, the room was immaculate & spacious with spectacular views of the countryside and the sea. The location on the beach is one of the outstanding features of the hotel.

Stayed here on the 31st until the 2nd January. We have eaten at the hotel quite a few times but this was our first stay, all the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing a bother the young blonde receptionist even carried our bags up a beautiful young lady. The room was huge for a standard room and lovely, the beds were comfortable, the food amazing we ate both nights…also breakfast plentiful, I will definitely stay again.

We (a couple in our 40s) stayed here for a New Year's Break. The Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The downside to the room was that the TV Reception was terrible. All channels intermittent. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant. Food was good and portions were big. Would recommend.

A gem by the beach. We booked a deluxe room beach facing (room 137), Juliet balcony with the most stunning view over to the Isle of Arran even on a blustery day. Worth every penny. Decoration both modern & tasteful. Rebecca at reception was so welcoming and friendly as were the restaurant and bar staff. Delicious food, generous portions. Ample parking, dog friendly. They even have a doggie station with towels etcetera for resident woofs. We will definitely be back. Thank you Waterside.

My husband and I have just returned from The Waterside hotel after an overnight stay. From the welcoming receptionist to the domestic staff in the morning, we found all the staff to be very efficient and friendly and a credit to the hotel. Our room was spotless and modern with great views over to Arran! We dined in the restaurant on Boxing Day and opted for the 3 course meal, which we both thoroughly enjoyed with great sized portions. Breakfast in the morning was equally as good and both times the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. We shall definitely be returning!!
