Rachel and her family made us very welcome, right from 'phoning up to check availability through to....after departure (my son left his 'phone charger in the bedroom, so Rachel found where we'd moved onto in Kirkwall and brought it over - just amazing). The room was very comfortable, the view from the room encompassed 5000 years of history, we'd a...

Our hostess, Rachel is a natural when it comes to making the guests comfortable. Providing an excellent freshly prepared breakfast as well as fresh fruit and tasty local produce. Its the little things that make a difference such as having hot water at all times and a towel rail that keeps your bath towels warm when you step out of...

Stayed at Kaya B&B for two nights during a business trip to Orkney. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly, our room very well equipped and comfortable (not to mention spic and span) and our time in Orkney was made all the more enjoyable by Kaya B&B. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Breakfast was also great!

Stayed for three days here in August 2015 as part of a Classic Car tour. Made most welcome by the owners. First class accommodation with breakfast of your choice, cooked or continental. Certainly the best bathroom we had during our 8 Day tour of Scotland which included hotels at twice the price. Would definatly stay here again if and when we...

Spent 5 nights at this lovely B&B. Very good location for island ferries, Maes Howe etc. Ring of Brodgar and Stones of Stenness were visible from our bedroom window. Spotlessly clean and spacious bedroom and bathroom, and a very warm family welcome from host Rachel. Excellent breakfasts including fresh fruit. We will return!

I and a family member stayed recently for several nights during the busy 'Agricultural Show Week' which left any good accommodation at a premium! And we were VERY lucky!! What a perfect end-of-stay place situated a few miles from the main town and only fifteen minutes from Kirkwall. The twin room was immaculately tidy, extremely spacious and the room and...

This was an excellent find. We wanted to stay at the Stromness end of the island but were having difficulty in getting anywhere. At the time, this B&B only had 2 TA reviews, but we risked it and it paid off. The location is great, only a few miles out of Stromness on the main Kirkwall road, and overlooking the...
