We have been traveling through many countries so far, staying at B&B if possible – but this one will stay in our memories! Keiko and Patrick did a wonderful job in renovating the old church and turn it into their guest house. In addition both are perfectionist in cooking dinner, which made our stay unforgettable. It does not happen very...

A wonderful dining experience in a wonderful location. Beautiful presentation of fresh locally sourced fish dishes. You will find the hosts warm and welcoming with an equally warm and relaxing home to welcome you. Unpretentious home cooking delivered to the table with great style incorporating innovative ideas. Hosts Keiko and Patrick cater for all food allergies, dietary conditions and tastes.

Eastward Guest House is surely a one off ! Hosting at its superlative best . Enormous thought and care goes into the guest experience to the extent that the tiniest of details receive attention. The food is a labour of love and great care is taken to research each guests individual needs. Maybe this is the true meaning of a...

It's a converted church, which is pretty cool and the rooms are well thought out with comfy beds, plump duvets and pillows, with USB sockets, Wi-Fi and communal areas where you can chill out or use the PC/ printer if you need. The Japanese food is delicious and breakfasts are beautifully presented. The owners, Keiko, Pat and the girls are...

This could be a five star hotel with the ensuite rooms and guest lounge over looking the sea between S Ronaldsay and the mainland of Scotland. If you are going to stay, even for a short while, you better book for dinner as well. Apart from the award winning breakfasts, dinners can be Japanese feasts lasting well into the night,...

We went to Orkney again just to stay in Eastwood and it is so enjoyable. The atmosphere is happy and relaxed and the evening meals really are a dining experience. Every little detail has been planned so that you want for nothing, iIt was useful to have a quiet little fridge in the bedroom to keep my wife's medicine. The...

We stayed at the Eastward guest house for one night and booked the Japanese 11 course banquet. Unbelievable cooking. It seemed like all the stops were pulled out for our meal. Freshly ground wasabi, freshly made Yuzu pepper etc. Our award winning breakfast was also amazing. Fresh fruit followed by cinnamon porridge with Guatemalan honey and cherry compote which would...

We stayed for 2 nights in September 2016, everything was absolutely fantastic, especially meals they served. We enjoyed fresh seafood a lot! Also walking around the area by the coast, cliff path was nice to feel nature, sound of sea, breeze, and chirping of birds. Many thanks to Patrick and Keiko, who made our Orkney visit memorable and enjoyable one.

Dinner with the yamaga-whites is a fanatastic experience. Patrick described it as a casual meal but it was definately up their with the best food i have had anywhere. It was difficult to leave as they are very welcoming and could easily have taken the offer of the guest room if our own bed wasn't so nearby.
