We booked the family room for three nights including breakfast and dinner. On arrival the schiehallion seemed a fine quite typical country town hotel and our room was spotlessly clean with ample space for the four of us, the person who greeted us was friendly and helpful. We went to dinner at six in the evening and ordered the steak...

Popped in here on the way home for food and found the food excellent. I did visit here over a year ago and wasn't disappointed then either. Standard menu with daily specials and a great selection to cater for every taste. Great overall service and will definitely pop in again soon.

Can't praise it highly enough. We had a lovely weekend of pub rugby watching, integrated with walking. This hotel was excellent, spotless, rooms large & damned fine breakfast to boot! Also recommend the birks of aberfeldy as a great way to spend a sunday morning & Menzies castle as another decent walk to/back from the centre of Aberfeldy.

Lovely place and very friendly staff. The breakfast was perfect and I even had the pleasure of watching Scotland get beaten at rugby in the bar..😉can't recommend this place enough. Rooms were very clean (but very cold on arrival as all heating sources were off). I would like to return and fish the Tay

My wife and I stayed 3 nights over New Year and was pleasantly surprised at the standard of accommodations. Our room was spacious and decorated to a very high degree. Staff were extremely friendly and would do anything for you. We were located on the second floor and had no issues with noise from a very busy bar. Breakfast was...

Fab hotel, spotlessly clean, stayed in a family room (number 2) and it was excellent. Very large room, comfy bed, kids shared a sofa bed which was fine. Nice and quiet too, right above the bar but you would never have known (Saturday night). Had dinner and breakfast in the bar/restaurant which was good, food not outstanding but decent and...

Thanks for your kind review. We receive many compliments for the family room as it is very spacious and welcoming. There is also plenty to do around the town for families including the local swimming pool and several nature walks in the area not forgetting the wonderful new play park you mentioned which is only a short walk away from...

Stayed on a Friday night during the Aberfeldy music festival. They hadn't jacked up the rates, which was nice. There is a small separate entrance to the reception near the main pub entrance (the hotel is above the pub of the same name), you need to buzz to get in. Checkin was very quick and easy, and we got two...

Thank you so much for giving such a detailed review. The manager was correct in telling you that the last make over was over 4 years ago but agreeable this has lasted exceptionally well. We usually receive quite remarkable feedback for our breakfasts as there is quite a lot on offer and usually of a very high standard, Although we...
