We arrived back in Canada a few days ago after five excellent weeks in Scotland. We stayed in a variety of accommodations, including University residences, manor houses and B&Bs. Our favourite place was the Galvelbeg B&B in Crieff. We know the kinds of touches that make a stay special for us and this one ticked all the right boxes: warm...

Many thanks for your glowing review, so pleased that we "Ticked all the right boxes" for you! To know that we were your favourite place during your stay in Scotland, even competing with manor houses has really brightened up our day! Lesley was really pleased that she got a mention as she was helping with breakfasts, on the Saturday, as...

We have stayed at Galvebeg House on several occasions as we visit a relative in Crieff on a regular basis. We are always disappointed when we cannot get a room here, as we have not felt quite so comfortable in other local B&Bs. Nigel and Stella are always welcoming and friendly, the house is always immaculately clean, and the breakfast...

Dave & Denise, Thank you for your great review, one of the best compliments we can get is when guests return time after time, however but by also taking the time to post a review it is very special. Although we welcome all our guests it is nice for us to see familiar faces coming to the front door :)...

We felt really welcome at Galvelbeg House by Nigel and Stella and their dogs. A perfectly run B&B in Crieff with all the amenities you could ask for. The room was comfortable and clean. I wouldn´t hesitate to stay there again if I was in the area. We got great eating suggestion just across the road at Yanns.

Many thanks for your great review, good to hear you enjoyed your welcome from Murphy & Bailey!! We are really lucky to have Yann's just across the road and thank you for posting a review for them as well! Unfortunately like many Victorian houses that have been converted to B&B's we aren't accessible for disabled with all our bedrooms upstairs...

Had the pleasure of staying here recently, wonderful couple, Nigel and Stella made us very welcome, the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you might need, the little touches like the home baking in the room was well received and the full Perthshire breakfast would beat most 5 star hotels around the world, they also provide there guests maps...

Linda & Derek, So glad that you enjoyed you visit back to the "Homeland" from Australia! Good to hear your comments about our Perthshire Breakfast, it is great that we have some great local produce to work with, both from our local butcher and our own eggs! Look forward to seeing you again. Nigel & Stella

This was our second stay at Galvelbeg and every bit as good as the first. A lovely stay once again and pleasing to see that Stella is still baking! Lovely to have some treats waiting when you get back at the end of the day. Breakfasts are excellent and very tasty. Wide choice available as well. If you are planning...

Malcolm & Jayne, Many thanks for your great review, just such a pity that your visit to the British Open was marred by some unseasonal bad weather! Oh well it is Scotland after all!! It is always nice when guests pay us a return visit and as so many of them come JUST for Stella's baking I don't think she...

The B&B is very nice, confortable and clean. The place is on the main road in Crieff, but very quite. Stella and Nigel are very nice, kind and welcoming persons: their hospitality is great, as well as that of … their 2 cute dogs! Free tea & coffee and some home baking are available in the room. I appreciated the...

Lorenza, Many thanks for your review, we were so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, even if it was a very short stay! Annette, Many thanks for your lovely review, although I was disappointed by some of your comments!!
