I've had a lovely, 2 day stay at Granite Villa. Perfect location, friendly landlady and gorgeous breakfast. Golspie is a small village with lovely feel to it. There are pubs, grocery shops and great charity shop in the high street. Don't rush past! Will be going back there indeed!

I really feel bad writing this review, because Jane was great, the location was great and the room was large and comfortable. My only issue with the Granite Villa was the all-pervading smell of cigarette smoke (I could even smell it on my clothes after I left). Now, this is Jane’s house so she can do what she likes in...

Thanks Jane for making our couple of days of family reminiscing at the end of June so memorable. Everything was perfect and the haggis for breakfast just mouth watering. Even Buster the lab had a superb time. Dunrobin Castle is a must.

We found this by chance. Jane was very helpful with a knowledge of information. Wallpaper was a bit garish but the bed was lovely and we had a fantastic nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was mouthwatering and plenty to choose from including homemade jams and honey from her bees. Would highly recommend

The B&B is well situated in the middle of town. My room was clean and smart, though the Scottish weather wasn't at its best and this meant it was chilly. Extra blankets are provided if needed. Downstairs there is a nice lounge and dining room. The outstanding part of this house is Jane, the landlady. Pleasant, knowledgable and making sure...

Lovely friendly B&B, in a beautiful house, in a lovely street. Very central too - tiny walk to the main street. A definite recommendation. Has a supply of DVD's that you can watch in your room. Our room was very large and faced the street, and it was quiet.

We called in at Granite Villa 'on spec' at about 8.30 pm without a booking. Jane gave us a warm welcome and showed us to a lovely room. Having taken our breakfast requests, Jane then went shopping!!!! The room was extremely comfortable with a newly fitted out en-suite. Breakfast in the morn was enough to set you up for the...

what a jem this place is, mine host, Jane, picked me up from train station and it just got better, Golspie is a gorgous seaside town sitting beneath the magnificent Dunrobin Castle a short walk away, arrived at the villa to find an immaculate room with every little detail covered, Jane was charming and could not do enough to make...

Granite Villa has many, many positives and I agree with what has already been said it really is beautiful, comfortable etc etc. However, for us the bonus was that it was no problem at all for Jane to cater for my strict gluten free diet. Not only had Jane ensured she had gluten free bread available (and it was kept...
