Stayed here for one night while travelling through the Highland with a tour group. Very nice quality and the rooms were fully updated and nice. The in house bar was very fun and the breakfast was quaint and just what I needed to wake me up. Would definitely stay here again. Only mild complaint, though it did not effect me...

Thank-you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Superfast broadband only recently reached this geographical location and you were one of the first guests to enjoy a decent internet speed. The next stage will be to extend coverage around the hostel but this will be no easy task due to our old building - we are working...

I stayed here for one night with Haggis compass buster tour. We shared our room with another couple. Room was of decent size, neat and clean with attached bathroom. The bunk beds were equipped with reading light and a charging point. Wifi was free and can be used in the living area. Self-catering kitchen and eating area is big, but...

Very clean hostel with great backpacker atmosphere. Beds are confortable in the dorms, you can cook your own food and share it with other people. It's a very nice house close to the town. There is a bar where you can meet other travellers and party with them. I would go there again

Had a warm welcome from the staff when we arrived. Glad that the way to our room had a few steps only so it wasn't so bad for us as we had our big luggage. The room was what i had expected and seen in pictures. Also was glad that the bathroom's en-suite. We stayed in a 4 bedroom dorm,...

Thank-you for taking the time to review us. We are glad you enjoyed most aspects of your stay and would like to thank you for bringing to our attention things that could have been communicated better. The heaters in all rooms have thermostatic controls, we are sorry that you did not notice this and found the room too warm. We...

This has to be one of my favorite hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff were very friendly, and the bar was even better!

We stayed in a private room, which would work really well for a family as the room had a double/single bunk and a single/single bunk. There was also plenty of room to move around. Also, a decent size bathroom. It looked like both had recently been refurbished and, according to the sign on the door, everything was done to reduce...

Fantastic place and quirky.. Mixed range of guests and everyone welcome. We stayed with child and paid for the 4th bed so we had a dorm to ourselves - en suite private to dorm. Most rooms well away from bar area so no noise from there. Some noise above and beside but you'd get that in most places. Friendly advice...

Stayed here two nights while on a Haggis Adventures bus tour. One of the best places we stayed on our month long trip! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms clean and spacious with great showers, everything well set out and clean. We arrived expecting to need to head to a pub for dinner, only to have them call us on...
